Learning Resources Giant Magnetic Animal Cell

This handy little magnetic device makes it very easy to show in a basic way how a human cell works. It contains all the major organelles and makes explanation of their function much easier to visualize. Great aid when used in conjunction with books and lecture. And make a point to let them know that this is a two dimensional representation of a three dimensional object.

This was very useful in the classroom. I wish I could find the same thing for plant cells.

We are loving this magnetic animal cell! I have it on the fridge for daily play and review. The magnets are, admittedly, weak. But they have not slipped off with the constant use of the fridge. Great product, one of the rare items I have rated at 5 stars. Is as advertised, product insert explains the type and function of the organelles, and even includes a small blank diagram for review. Magnet works well but is weak enough for a child to move around easily, and each organelle is attached to a thin piece of foam giving it an easier grip. Wonderful product!
