They DO fit an 870
These absolutely do fit an 870, not sure what everybody else is talking about. They fit the 5/16” vent rib beautifully. Installation was NOT that hard. Take the barrel off the gun and lay it on its side. Sure, took some fiddling, but I had both the front and rear installed within 15 minutes from sitting down with the package in front of me. Pretty cool, easy to add option to get some nice bright sights on a gun with a vent rib.

Top notch sights
If your looking for bolt on sights for a smooth bore shotgun, these are top notch. I boutght them for deer season, they are constructed really well and fit perfectly. The sight alignment is great and the brightness of the fiber optic is just right not to overpowering but enough to pick it up looking through in any light situation. Overall worth every penny!!

Well made, solid, bright
Well made, Machined aluminum. Comes with everything you need including the Allen wrench. Fits solid. Sights are bright and easy to use. Happy to have it.

Not as bright as they show in the pics
The fiber rods used are short and thin. They do not collect a lot of light. They work fine in full sunlight but on overcast days the rod ends are hard to see. Otherwise the sights are good and solid once mounted and they do work well compared to stock sights.

CZ Drake is happy
Fit my CZ Drake without issues. The instructions dont tell you that you have to loosten the flathead screw on the rear sight to remove the adjustable part to get to the screw holes. I guess its obvious but i wasnt sure.

Save your money and sanity !
This isn't the first sight I've mounted on a shotgun, but it was the most difficult and frustrating. I mounted it on a Rem 870 20ga that I bought for my son around 20yrs ago. The rib is wider than 1/4" but not 5/16", so I bought this sight since it's called universal. Bad idea. Between trying to hold onto the narrow base clamps that go under the rib and having one set of holes a couple thousandths off. I finally got them on an hour later, only to find out that there is no way to keep the rear sight from leaning to the left. Tru-Glo's and Hi-Viz sights always mounted easily and fit perfectly. Over $41.00 once I got them sent to the house. For a few more dollars I could have gotten Tru-Glo's top of the line that I've used in the past and maybe had to tweak them a little, but it would have been well worth it.

Ok, but do not fit beretta a300.
These are well made, metallic sights. My only problem is they say universal, and they do not fit the vent rib on my beretta a300. It’s too far in between sizes to get a good hold on the rib. The screws are also long enough that they dug into my barrel while tightening. I have to use a blueing pen to fix the marks.

Other than the caution needed to install the sight it is a very good product. I used a drop of blue lock ...
Takes a little precision to install and be sure to tighten equally. Make sure the sight is perfectly level before tightening, the different rail steps can be difficult to differentiate. Other than the caution needed to install the sight it is a very good product. I used a drop of blue lock tight per screw and the sight has held up perfectly through about 50 3 1/2" 12 gauge loads.
