DELSEY PARIS Chatelet Air Hardside Luggage, Spinner Wheels, Champagne White, Checked-Large 28 Inch

I will be using my new 21 inch carry on suitcase on a trip to the Northwest for 23 days in mid May. I just packed and with storage cubes was able to get in about 10 days worth of clothes along with hiking shoes and the cubes fit perfectly. The four wheel spinners make this suitcase a breeze to turn and roll. I put it through a test in some tight corners, hallways, and driveway. I was thrilled by the easy maneuverability of this suitcase. This is a game changer for me having used a soft sided two wheel carry on before, that was constantly falling over. I also have Rheumatoid Arthritis and this fits my needs. I had no issues with unlocking the suitcase when it arrived as some folks had said. Easy to set and unlock. I purchased the brown and I love the leather striping. It came with a laundry bag, and I like the hanger addition to the suitcase. I cannot wait to fly with it and see how durable it proofs. Fingers crossed.

I have used this bag 15 times since I purchased it in May 2023. Military family that travels quite frequently as family and friends live in other states/countries. This luggage is very high quality. The outside texture makes it easy to clean when scuffs appear from the luggage carousel. I purchased the white case and bought a luggage protector for my bag but tsa keeps removing it so scuffs keep happening. The wheels are such high quality, no issues still. The tsa lock is easy to use and set a combination. The handle is smooth and moves nicely when needed. The zippers and fabric have zero issues. I pack my bags pretty tight sometimes and zero issues still with fabric or zippers. The bag is sturdy and solid and will hopefully last me for the rest of my life. This is the 6th bag I’ve purchased as all previous bags in my life have broken. There’s a 10 year Warrenty to register the bag so if you have any issues you will get a replacement or repair for free.

This piece of luggage is well-made and lighy-weight, leaving plenty of capacity for all of the things that you take, but probably don't need while traveling. There was no trade-off between the weight of the bag and its durability. This bag does not have wheel brakes, which save alot of weight, but was still every easy to manage. The extra storage bags-one for shoes and one for laundry, we're an added bonus. Although the bag is white, it traveled well and cleaned up easily.

I purchased my first piece of this luggage during covid when no one was traveling and I got a good deal. I have since picked up additional pieces whenever I can catch a sale. I purchased the White for me and the Brown for my husband. The brown is more subtle but is still very elegant for men. This luggage literally opens doors for us whenever we travel and we get so many compliments from strangers who want to know the brand.

I was so excited to receive this piece of luggage for our Cabo trip. I took one as a carry on and one went under the plane. It received a few scuffs during transit but it was very easy to remove. There is tons of room on both sides and I loved that it came with the red bags and hangers. It was easy to maneuver as well.

I didn’t end up keeping this as I wanted something lighter but it was nice.

I got this for a trip to UK. I overstuffed it and had no issues. I also had to roll this on cobblestones, and many uneven surfaces for pretty long distances and it did a good job. I also carred a heavy bag on top of it while I rolled it. I will say it tending to roll a bit to the left but only happened when on rough surfaces. I thought for sure that the wheels would break but they held up. The zipper hiolds are my only complaint. They could be bigger for easier gripping, but other that happy with purchase so far. I used a luggage cover for protection so I cannot comment on how it exterior would have held up. Looking to by the 21 inch carry on My travel buddy had issues with the luggage they were using, so i was very glad I got this

I really liked this suitcase until I used it for the first time in May 2023. On the very first flight on Delta from Salt Lake City to Seattle, one of the wheels broke off. OK-this damage was most likely caused by the airline. And airline damage apparently is not covered by Delsey's (almost) worthless warranty. The wheel units are actually easy to replace. They are attached to the case by 4 Phillips head screws and the whole process of replacing a wheel unit takes no more than 5 minutes...if you can get the right replacement wheels. This is where the problem began. Of course Delsey lists a customer service number on their main website. So you call that number and get the usual recording which refers you back to the website so that you can send an email message to customer service. And when you submit your message you are supposed to get a response within 48 hours. Or is it 48 days or not at all? Anyway, no response of any kind. All I want to do is order the stupid replacement wheel, online from Delsey, at my own expense. Should be a simple, straightforward process but Delsey perhaps believes that any sort of after sale service is an unnecessary burden. So far, no replacement wheel and no service. My beautiful Chatelet Air 28 inch suitcase decorates the closet. If I had gone to the trouble of reading other reviews beyond what is posted on Amazon, I would have discovered that Delsey customer service is ,well, quite often horrible to non-existent. Therefore based on my own experience, I can not recommend Delsey. If you want a really good packing case (suitcase) with a REAL warranty and REAL customer service, I suggest TUMI or other premium label. Of course, you pay for it, and for many the trade-off may not be worth the price difference.

wanted it to match what I have and am not disappointed. Also, it holds more than its size would indicate.

Love Delsey chatelet special edition this is my second one as I love these suitcases I get so many complaints and durable. I always use suitcase cover to protect it .
