Bought a second one. Very useful for walls and much better to handle than the standard ‘yellow tongue’ poly cable feeder. Long enough for most jobs and very easy to carry.

This thing is absolute garbage. I’ve used a number of fish tools over the years, but the ones I had weren’t long enough to run through some pvc conduit that I recently ran through my backyard. I picked up the 50’ version of this for that task. It arrived with the first 3’ already unraveled and sticking out of the packaging, and when I unwound enough to use, could not for the life of me wind it back up. After 45 minutes with utility gloves and a screwdriver trying to get the spring steel back into the little groove to wind it up, I gave up, put some zip ties around it and returned it. Spend a few more dollars for one with a handle that’s a bit better designed, your hands will thank you for it and you’ll have a tool you can use more than once.

I bought this to run some electrical wires through the chassis of my vehicle and into the engine bay while installing a few accessories. It worked well for that purpose and made routing the cables much easier compared to trying to push them through by hand. The tape feels sturdy enough and the length is practical for small to medium jobs around a vehicle. For the price, I’m happy with it and would recommend it for similar wiring projects.
