If I could give more stars I would. I had an eye exam and the doc said eyes have improved immensely, and vision excellent. My hair is thick, for 73, and I do not get sick. Apparently also good for bones, but I haven’t had a recent DEXA. I cannot attribute this eye improvement to anything else I’m taking. A very good product.

I bought this for hair growth and I am just about finished with my second bottle and I am seeing baby hairs sprouting up all over my scalp. I am doing several things to try to regrow my hair (Red light therapy, pumpkin seed oil, stinging nettle tea, oiling my hair weekly, etc) so I think everything is combining to contribute to my success. I will say though, about two weeks into beginning this product, there was a noticeable sheen to my hair and it felt softer, so I do believe it is helping at the very least with the condition of my hair.

I use the oil when I don’t have access to the dried black currant and I feel it works as a substitute until I can get the actual dried black currant.

Black Currant Seed Oil is recommended by Dr. Weil for thinning hair. As per his advice, I looked for a supplement that contains more than 45 mg of GLA. He suggests taking 500 mg twice a day for a minimum of two months. It's unlikely you'll see any results, for 6 - 8 weeks. I chose this brand because it's cold-pressed & hexane free.

The GLA and antioxidants are helping with eye health as well as other powerful nutrients like, Choke Berry. Normally I avoid omega 6 because of its connection to inflammation but this is more like the GLA in Primrose Oil. Buckthorn Oil is also a powerful antioxidant with high vitamin C content. I always take this with additional Omega 3's Berries and currants are better but not always available. Small and easy to swallow.

Great for dry eye due to GVHD! I’m a bone marrow transplant patient and I get extremely dry eyes and this helps keep them moist. I take two a day by mouth and I really like it!!!!

After doing some research on black currant oil, I was super impressed by all the benefits of this for hair growth, hormonal balance, helps prevent blood clots, good source of antioxidants, vitamin C and omega 3 oils, good anti-inflammatory, etc. I bought it to help with some hair thinning I was experiencing. I also started using Just Nutritive hair serum and shampoo and am also taking biotin and MSM supplements for my hair and the combination of all these hair growth boosters is showing a huge improvement in my hair. It is thickening up VERY noticeably and hair shedding has slowed down. I do notice some improvements with less joint pain. I like the small, easy to swallow soft gels. I plan to continue buying this product as I feel there are just so many good benefits to taking black current oil. I will continue to purchase your hexane free product as I believe it is well priced and good quality!
