SCHMETZ Stretch Sewing Machine Needles - Precision Needles, Size 75/11, 5-Needle Cards, Pack of 5

Great needle’s for doing formal alterations!

I was worried about ordering these because the size in the photo was different than the size in the title. They are actually 75/11 Stretch, which is want I wanted. They’re great, I use them for everything that isn’t woven—plush elastic, fold over elastic, firm elastic, cotton/spandex, swimsuit nylon, lace, foam, you name it. These just seem to work great, and take a long time to dull. Maybe because they start out so rounded, to slip between fibers instead of pierce them, that getting dull doesn’t seem to be too big of an issue. Shameful to admit, but I usually end up breaking them before needing to replace them due to performance. No problem catching bobbin thread or shredding. I use a Singer 9985, so the max speed is only 850 stitches per minute. I’m not able to say how well they would work in a machine that stitches at a higher speed, but I imagine they’d be great.

Great value for the money and we use them quickly in our sewing classes.

These needles worked perfectly for my purposes. Like I could purchase in bulk.

Great quality and they make such a difference. All my problems with stretch knit fabric are history. Now all I do is sew on happily with the flimsy knits without skipped stitches or fabric jammed into the throat. They look like others, but they are arent. Love them. I do wish that the shafts were more clearly painted so I could distinguish them if I change needles. I took a red magic marker to the shafts and I'll see if it lasts..

I needed a needle for my serger machine. Without this needle- specifically for serging on stretchy fabric- is a big mistake. The quality of this needle is excellent and does what you need.

I have used these for years and needed new ones. I was delighted to find them on Amazon.

J'ai reçu à la place de la boite de 100 aiguilles 20 blisters de 5 aiguilles. C'est la même qualité mais ce n'est pas très pratique, le but de ces boites en plus du prix étant de réduire la place que les blisters prennent. L'expédition a été soit disant immédiate mais la livraison a été très tardive... et le cachet de la poste laisse un doute... bref, l'essentiel est d'avoir reçu ma commande...

Il n’y avait qu’un seul paquet sur 5 ! Très fâchée de cet achat ! Surtout que ça a pris une éternité à arriver !
