Heavy duty and fits well on a queen mattress. It is comfortable, waterproof, and slip resistant. We have a mattress pad over it and it’s not too bulky or noisy.

I really love these vinyl mattress protectors. They are waterproof, heavy-duty, the noise level is low, the zipper is also very sturdy, stain resistant, comfortable and so far they are durable. All of this is true. I ordered this product in January and so far here in February they have lasted. I've ordered mattress protectors in the past because of allergies. And in the past after about a month the vinyl became brittle and would split. Also, with these other protectors the zipper was flimsy and would tear while I was putting the protector on. That did not happen with this product. Now, I am new to buying this product and so I can't say for sure that this will not happen but this is my experience so far. I will send updates. My only problem with this company is that they don't make heavy-duty vinyl pillow covers. I would buy them for sure.

Item feels like a really big thick plastic bag for a bed. It had a pretty strong scent taking it out, but having a window or fan open helps. I stood my bed up and sort of worked my way down, which I struggled on. I did not have any help so I recommend the opposite. Zipping it up was such a hassle and parts of the lining ended up ripping. I believe it was only because my mattress is thick, when I finished, it looked like a pretty tight fit. If you have a mattress like mine I highly suggest sitting on top while zipping the cover up. It prevented me from ripping the whole thing apart. I only ended up with three holes, which I figure could be fixed with a little tape. I am aware I could just return and redo the process, but it was such a hassle and the holes are not too big. I, personally do not mind taping them up. The item, once fitted on my mattress, was quite soft in my opinion. It does not crinkle or make any noise when I sit on it. I would recommend buying this, despite the tiny bump in the road I encountered with it. Note, the only reason mine ripped was because my mattress is pretty thick. I gave this item four stars because I believe it is a pretty good item for its price!

This is a decent cover protector and because I purchased a queen size for a full bed I had some extra material to stretch around the mattress. And even after I followed the directions of standing the mattress up vertically and lightly pulling cover down over it and then zipping around the edge afterwards, when I went to zip the edge the material ripped off from the zipper. But it’s vinyl and it’s not like fabric so it’s not meant to be on a zipper so I’m guessing that’s why it rips so much. However I taped up the ripped sides of the zipper and it still in working fashion. Please size up or it will rip even more easier bc there will be no extra fabric to stretch across the edge when you’re zipping up the end of the mattress after pulling it down and over. Overall, I gave three stars bc it does rip and isn’t a perfect cover for mattress. I suggest that maybe you put fabric around the edge of the vinyl and then make the zipper attach to the edges with fabric, so your product can recieve five stars. Because for the price point it has a good design with vinyl thickness and after I taped it up from ripping, it actually does provide essential waterproofing completely from all fluids. You can just wipe clean and no matter how much liquid it is exposed to, it will not leak through to the mattress. But you may need tape to adjust it if it rips. So, I would go ahead and purchase some good clear packing tape from Amazon while you purchase this item.

I'm 6'4 so that helped me a lot putting this on by myself. I followed the instructions and pulled the protector over the top of the mattress like a rolled sock, then I shimmied the protector down and laid the mattress flat on the floor. Make sure you tug very, very gently to get it to snug up. People complain about the zipper but I had zero issues, I didn't just zip it up like a pair of pants either. What I did to zip it was pinch the zipper teeth in front of the closure zip, make sure the teeth are close together, and followed the path, pinch, zip, pinch, zip, etc. No problems if you don't force the zipper.

I was disappointed with this mattress protector because the material ripped while I was trying to pull it over the mattress. I wasn’t yanking it or doing anything crazy, just normal installation, and it still tore. It does seem waterproof, but that doesn’t matter much if it can’t survive being put on the bed. For something labeled “heavy duty,” I expected it to be a lot more durable.
