This is, by far, one of the best $20 I have ever spent on home décor. And considering I have spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on just that, that's really saying something! I wasn't really expecting much from this item, but based on some other user photos and all the great reviews it received, I thought, "Even if it's an exaggeration and everyone was just compensated for their reviews, I'm only out $20 if this product doesn't live up to the hype." Boy am I glad I took the chance! I have just repainted my entire house, and in the course of doing so decided to do some redecorating in the process. My living room had a big blank wall that no matter how much searching I did for artwork to place on the wall, nothing stood out to me. I also couldn't find a clock I liked well enough to spend $100+ on (I wanted something modern and substantial), and while browsing around here on Amazon, I stumbled across this particular product. When I received it (quite quickly - this item was eligible for Prime shipping) I saw the small box and immediately thought, "Here we go, time for the truth." I opened the box, saw all the pieces, read through the instruction brochure, and assumed this was going to be an arduous, over-complicated process to put together and mount. But, again, I reminded myself: "$20, Kristofer. What do we have to lose even if it's a total pain to put together and mount?" The first thing I did was measure my wall to find the exact center of the space I wanted the clock mechanism to mount to. Since the base of the clock itself has a mounting hole that hangs from the specialised mounting hardware (the kind that you can tack into drywall, brick, cement, wood, whatever - which was greatly appreciated since I live in an older home that has cement board instead of gypsum for many of its interior walls) about an inch and a half from the actual center of the mounting base, I took that into account when taking measurements and hanging. Once I had that done, I taped the enclosed template for marking the number positions to determine how far out I wanted each number to radiate from the center. I used a 48" level to ensure the 12, 6, 9 and 3 positions were all perfectly level from each other, and went back and used the template to mark the positions of the remaining numbers. After getting all the positions marked, I did as several reviewers did and peeled off just tiny sections of the protective backing to expose small portions of the adhesive, just in case I messed up the placement of the numbers and needed to make small adjustments - which, I did, so I was glad I took this precaution. After all numbers and the word, "TIME" were all properly positioned, I stepped back and took a look at the final results, and I was nearly dumbstruck at how nicely this clock works in my space. Truly, it looks like it should have cost ten times more than it actually did, and I receive numerous compliments on it all the time! One problem I had, though, and it created an issue, is that the next day I woke up and went out into the living room and noticed the 2 from the 12 marker was lying on the floor. It had fallen off at some point in the night, and apparently the impact from hitting the floor cracked the mirrored covering. It doesn't take much at all to crack these things, so be extra cautious when working with them. I peeled off more of the protective backing to expose more adhesive, replaced the 2 on the wall, and the next day the 9 had also fallen off - but, luckily, it landed on a settee and didn't crack the way the 2 did. I did the same thing as with the fallen 2, then checked the rest of the numbers and letters to ensure none of them were going to experience the same fate. I don't know if my walls being freshly painted caused the numbers to not adhere as well as others that only exposed small portions of the adhesive claimed their numbers stuck, or what the issue actually was, but that tactic didn't really work for me. So just be aware of that when mounting these to your wall and act accordingly. Since the cracked 2 is up so high on the wall, no one will really notice it (except me) and I can live with that - especially for just how much of a statement piece this clock really is! I did have to dock a star from my Overall rating as a result of these things being so easily cracked. The numbers weigh probably not even two ounces each (even the big numbers), so one wouldn't think when they land that there would be enough impact to do any damage; but one would be mistaken in assuming that. I would not hesitate to purchase this clock again, and I am considering getting another one in a slightly different style for my sunroom when the time comes to redo that space, too! And, considering I am in a long-term rental, I know that when/if the time ever comes that I have to take these down, I can.

The installation was easy and the instructions were clear. The clock looks great, I choose to make mine the largest size possible with the guide provided. I did have an issue where the time would be off at certain points. I removed the mechanical part a couple of times to adjust the time and at one point the clock just fell off the wall and bent the hands. I contacted the company and they quickly sent me a new set. No questions asked. Just like anything you buy, sometimes there may a problem with the product. I think that great customer service makes the difference. 5 stars and 2 thumbs up for Vangold.

Looks nice. Functions well. Easy installation.

It’s beautiful, is what I wanted and expected. That’s why I gave it 3 stars. But I’m about to throw it away. I cannot return it because I threw away the box. The numbers keep falling. Every morning I get up to find 2,3or 4 on the floor. Tried everything, nothing works. I learned never to throw away the boxes so fast.

Très belle horloge il y a un beau rendu. Livraison rapide conforme a la description et correspond bien a la photo. En couleur or et noir elle est magnifique joli rendu. Par contre prend du temps dans l installation mais reste assez facile a installer puisque ce n'est que des collants derrière les chiffres et un genre de stickers pour l ecriture. Très joli en déco et différentes tailles pour poser les chiffres.

Me llego rápido. Facil de montar, aunque tienes que mirarte muy bien las instrucciones y el video. Queda muy bien
