The Klein CL320KIT is a very good kit for the non-professional that wants to be able to troubleshoot electrical problems and possibly solve these problems without calling for professional help. I have both a home and a travel trailer that give me ample opportunity to use the multimeter and the NCVT. With this set and YouTube videos to guide me I’ve solved problems that would have cost me hundreds of $$$ in professional bills. Finally, my Kit seems well built and comes in a nice case that keeps everything well organized.

I do a fair amount of repair work, including HVAC and automotive. I wanted an accurate and well built meter for electrical troubleshooting. I am not a full time repair tech and did not want to spend unnecessary money on a Fieldpiece or Fluke meter. This Klein meter is just right for my needs. The included digital thermometer and electric sensor work well enough and are welcomed included accessories. These all fit nicely in the included zip case. My only gripes are the rear magnetic hanger is not included and must be purchased extra and the lead wire probes do not have push-on alligator clips included. Overall, I highly recommend this meter set for the money spent!

I use everything in this kit. I love the temp probe. Can be used in so many ways. The continuity tester works perfect for quick checks. The meter is extremely accurate and very reliable. I love that it has a backlight for the screen when in dark areas. I would recommend this to anyone in need.

Great set for the price, covers all of your basics for hvac work if you’re just starting out. Everything is pretty accurate, my only complaint is that the meter has always seemed to be a little off when compared to other meters. It’s a small difference, this meter might read 218v while other brands will read 220v for instance.

I mean, I have put "high quality" in the title, you would pretty much demand that at this price, given that you can get a meter that would do most if not all of this for half the price or less. So why pay more? Well, I guess what it comes down to is "are you using this day to day?". Like a lot of tools, there's the cheap ones and the pro ones, and if you use them a lot you start to appreciate where the money has been spent to make it a bit more ergonomic here, a bit better tactile feedback on a dial there, a bit easier to read, a bit less shrill on the beeping, and so on. Essentially the design and construction are more refined. I also quite like how the whole thing fits comfortably in the bag, normally with these things you struggle to get it in, and the wires are all over the place, but it seems like theyve managed to make it somehow so you can just put it away within about 10 seconds without wrestling with it like a bag of snakes. The LCD is backlit (if you turn it on) and I had no issue reading it at any angle. The probes are well insulated with only the very tip poking out. Honestly I would never personally spend this much on a meter as an amateur but I could see it being worth it for a pro, I guess for us amateurs there's some cheaper ones in the range. I guess my one gripe is that for the money it doesn't do any kind of 'leakage current stuff' that I can see. If you find yourself trying to diagnose tripping RCDs then good luck with that, you'll have to buy a dedicated clamp meter for that. Other than that, no issues.
