Brilliant in every way if you are of an engeneering mind set. ROYAL state that they are proud of their steel industry background and you can understand why when you look at the trimmers. The mechanism works lovely and the cut is sharp enough so as there is no hair plucking, leaving the desired finish. Cleaning is fun if you enjoy taking things apart and rebuilding them. Obviously it's not going to give the same results as waxing but it is painless. No battery needed is also excellent. These are probably not for the techno culture or those wanting to plough straight in with a 2000rpm rotary strimmer. All in all great little hand powered, beautifully engeneered compact trimmers.

As many other reviews have said, this is really well made. Is it as effective as an electric trimmer? Well having used an electric one previously before it just stopped working... I'd say the sound of the electric trimmer was much more satisfying, you could tell you were clipping away those pesky hairs when using it. But it's bulky and you have to charge it and ultimately it didn't last that long so I decided to go for this and see what it was like. As I've said it well made, feels like a quality product and well made. Is it as effective... Well having used for a few months it does work but I find it more difficult to tell if I'm getting those hairs and getting all of them. However, it doesn't need charging, I can't see it stop functioning and it packs nice and small.

I really like these, effective in use and beautifully engineered (if you like that sort of thing, which I do 😁). They take some getting used to after using battery trimmers and they are more effective than you initially realise. They don't block up and wear in the way the usual battery type do and feel like a design that will work home and away (great for traveling given the included case and small size) for many years - the sustainable alternative to cheap battery trimmers.

This is great. Worked a treat for me. Much easier and less painful than tweezers or scissors. Very easy to use. Cleans quickly with the supplied brush. No batteries to worry about. Small enough to fit in a small wash bag. Very pleased.

I would have given this item 5 stars as it does it's job well. However, after 18 months using once every 3 weeks the spring failed rendering the trimmer useless. As I was pleased with the product and it was cheap enough last time I bought it thought I'd buy another one. I was horrified to see that it had almost doubled in price, it's good but not that good! I'll look elsewhere

Like many, I’ve tried motorised trimmers and always experienced pain at some point. These tiny clippers are a perfect solution. They are finger operated so you can gauge the speed at which hairs are clipped and so avoid any discomfort. Not only that but you can hear a very satisfying ‘crunch’ when a hair is clipped so you know it’s doing the job right. Slightly fiddly to use but no more than nail clippers and it does the job it’s meant to do. In summary: everything you could want for the price, lasts a lifetime and no batteries, plus- small and discreet.

Es ist erstaunlich, wie gut man mit diesem sehr soliden Gerät Haare an Ohr und Nase entfernen kann. Ich finde, dass es besser funktioniert als vorher mit dem Batteriegerät, das demgegenüber qualitativ überhaupt nicht bestehen kann.

User friendly n being manual. very easy n safe to use, didn’t experience any hair pull or any other discomfort. Worth buying though bit expensive 👍👍

The trimmer is well-constructed and strong, it is easy to use and keep clean, it looks good, and it does not require batteries. I'm more than satisfied. I'd buy it for other people if that weren't a weird thing to do!

Magnífica calidad. No se necesita más. Totalmente mecánico. Fácil de usar. Corta eficientemente vellos de nariz y orejas. Fácil de desarmar para limpieza. Por lo menos, una batería menos que cargar. Para las cejas regrese a las tijeras y peine. Estoy eliminando cosas que requieran baterías-cable y que realmente no son necesarias. Totalmente recomendable.
