Looks weird, Feels GREAT!
Yes, this chair looks odd. However, if you have issues with poor posture and back pain like I did, this chair can help! I work in a cubicle and spend 10-12 hours a day sitting and staring at a computer screen. This chair gives me several sitting options and I am able to adjust my position through the day to help ease the pain in my back. While yes, the chair is expensive as office chairs go... I believe it is worth the money for the pain this chair has saved me. Add to that the WONDERFUL customer service standing behind this chair! I had a MINOR issue with the chair and contacted the US based company that sold me the chair and they offered a fix quickly and at no cost to me! I would recommend this chair to anyone who spends their life in a cubicle and wishes to live as pain free as possible!

Well made chair, comfortable for your back, but wheels lock when sitting
Pros: The chair is easy to assemble and seems very well made. It does shift your weight to relieve back pain when it is set to lean forward, and is very comfortable for your back when resting your arms & chest on the front support. You can adjust the angle of Arm & chest support. Cons: Although you can adjust the angle of the arm/chest support, you can't adjustable in height. I'm 5'11" and felt that it is set too low for me. When swinging the arm/chest support, the lever on the bottom (that adjust seat height) rotates with it and would occasionally hit my legs. The foam pads could be thicker, although it relieves the back pain when resting your chest & arms on the front support, you start to feel soreness from putting some of you weight on your forearms with the thin padding. I could probably live with the previous cons, but the deal breaker for me was once you sit the wheels lock making the chair difficult to move, even on a hardwood floor, so you have to position the chair exactly where you want it before you sit. I have a corner desk and usually first sit on the chair, then roll it forward to my desk. Also, I sometimes need to roll to one side or another to reach the scanner, printer, or file cabinet next to my desk. If I wanted to do so with this chair, I'd have to swing the arm/chest support around, lift off the seat, roll to a new position, then sit down and swing it back.

Nice ergo chair for standard-height desks
I am pleased with the overall quality and design of the chair and it works as described. My only issue is with the described height of the seat when fully raised. The measurement is for the lip on the back of the seat, and not the actual seating area. This kept me from using the chair at my home office, as the desk is higher (more like bar stool height) and it ruins the whole point of an ergonomic chair when it is too low. I took it into work to replace the sub-standard chairs the company supplies, and I am pleased with it there.

The arm rest and chest rest is not very soft. It is also a little difficult to maneuver the angle of the arm rest. You have to push in and then change the angle - not something easy to do while sitting and takes a bit of pressure. Also, it appears that the chest/arm rest do not move up and down, but rather you have to move the seat height up/down to level the arms with the keyboard. That creates a problem if you have really long legs because then they are in an uncomfy position. The foot area is very comfortable as the structure allows a good base to put your feet on. Chair is pretty weighty. Took 5 minutes to assemble (basically put pipe-like object in base and then attach chair to that). Took 30 minutes to figure out the adjustment deals because instructions are 8.5X11. I'd say if your knees can handle it get a kneeling chair - this one is a bit pricey and not super comfortable.

after developing chronic back pain from sitting in my seemingly nice office chair for a few months
Bought this chair about 2 weeks ago, after developing chronic back pain from sitting in my seemingly nice office chair for a few months. I used to go home after work, lay down just so my back could relax. After just a week of using this chair, my posture is noticeably improved and it allows for a lot of adaptive positions to do work in. Even though this is a front support chair, the support swivels so that it becomes a rather uncomfortable back rest that is perfectly aligned to the way your spine should mirror when sitting/standing. After repeated use of this chair, not only do I find this uncomfortable back rest comfortable but therapeutic in helping my poor posture. If you are going to be in an office more than 6 hours a day, 5 days a week... invest in your back and your butt

Any position you can think of seems ergonomic in this chair. Only thing that got rid of my back problems from work.
