Works great on Clover Mites in the Spring
This product works great for a specific problem I had each spring with Clover Mites. The clover mites were attracted to the warm south side of our house each spring. Despite having fairly new windows with good seals, the mites would find their way inside and be all over the window sills on the inside and they attacked some of my houseplants. Clover mites are tiny and leave behind a reddish orange spot when you squish them. I live in Iowa and the problem occurs each spring in April. I previously tried many sprays, and even had a professional pest control service for a couple of years and none of that worked. I sprayed Cedarcide on the foundation up to the windows and I sprayed the lawn a good 10-15 feet out from the house. This totally solved the clover mite problem. I cannot say how well this product works on other insects, because I only used it in the spring for Clover Mites. I am buying it again this year.

Can enjoy my yard again! Ticks are GONE!
This is a banner year for mosquitoes, fleas and ticks. The ticks were really bad in my yard, even though I had put out tick tubes to try to control them. We have not had any more ticks since using this! Depending on how much rain, we will use it ever 2 weeks to a month. It does stand up to a normal amount of rain quite well, but we had 5 days of deluge. When it stopped and the yard was sprayed, even the mosquitoes were gone for a few days...and NO ticks. it will only kill the bugs it is sprayed on, so it will not kill all mosquitoes, but it keeps the population down. It doesn't seem to have harmed any of the beneficial bugs like bees, wasps or my garden helpers. We spray it in the late evening when they are not out. It's also economical, depending on the size of your yard, you can get multiple applications. I love the smell and that is is pet safe. Love that it is a natural product, not some horrid chemical poison.

There are TWO different versions of this product
The blue container (see my picture) is 9% cedar oil. The white container displayed on the AMZN website has cedar oil AND lemongrass. I ordered the cedar oil and lemongrass product in the white container but as you can see from the photo, that's not what I received. I used the cedar oil in the blue container anyway because I desperately needed to get rid of the ant infestation in my yard. I'll give the product in the blue container 4 stars because it killed ALL the ants in my yard but not the ants on the porch, which is concrete. I'm going to re-order this item and hopefully receive the correct container. I used up the entire container. Spraying took 5-10 minutes.

Worked GREAT here in Western Colorado
I live in Western Colorado. We have had a lot of cases of West Nile and when it comes to mosquitos, I have a passion to get rid of them. I have dogs and want to keep them from getting bit too, but I don't want poison on my skin (I requite DEET) and I don't want to have to give them a pill. The beginning of the summer was BAD. I looked into this product and thought I would give it a whirl. I have a 5000 SF lot and the bottle lasted the whole lot. I was able to spray the sides of the house down. It smells great and was easy to use. Now, I work outdoors A LOT. I love to be in my yard and that was a horrible experience before this product. I have seen very few mosquitos in my yard after the application. The only time I have been bit was when I was at other people's houses. I thought: "this can't be right!?!" My neighbors were still complaining of the mosquitos though...then I thought: "Well, this won't last!?!" I bought another bottle, ready to use it when the bugs came back. I haven't needed to use it and now that fall has set in, I won't use it until next spring. THANK YOU for making such a wonderful product. I know that results vary from region to region, but it really has worked for me here.

Didn’t work for us
We live in NC and deal with a lot of bugs. After reading all the reviews I thought we would give this a try and see if we can control the many different bugs that we have in our ground. It’s important that we have something safe because we have 3 dogs. It’s safe for pets. While my husband was spraying the backyard, we kept the dogs inside and then kept them inside for another 2 hours after he sprayed the lawn to make sure it was saturated in the ground. We bought 3 bottles to make sure we had enough to cover our entire backyard. This did not help at all. While my husband was spraying the lawn he said he could see bugs crawling in the grass. The next day, still he bugs in the grass. Will not buy again.

Works up to a certain point. Not a great value.
It's easy to apply and smells great, but is expensive and doesn't seem to last too long. I followed instructions and re-applied after initial application. I even did the cedar granules as well. It worked for like a week and even then it slowed them down slightly, but now the mosquitos are back in droves. I think this stuff might work well for smaller areas and minor infestations, so in a sense it works. It just doesn't seem to last long and is not going to help with large infestations. Unfortunately, in my case, I have to switch to the industrial stuff. If your dealing with a large issue like me, this isn't going to help.
