This is the short version, great fun and so cheap. Worthy for anyone who wants a fun sounding IEM or as a very inexpensive gift. Longer version: I’ll have to give a full review and update later…. BUT, I purchased 8 pairs of IEM / Earbud style headphones within 2 weeks to see how far along technology had progressed as I have some $100-300 sets from the past 10 years. These KZ EDX were highly rated and so cheap at $12 I figured I could use these as a knock around set or cannibalize their wires/ ear tips etc. if I wanted to. Plus with Prime, I could just use my own ear tips and send them back good as new. Boy…. Am I shocked! These are by far *my favorite set* for non critical listening…. and also these were the cheapest by a HUGE margin. AND before you think I’m def, I worked in HiFi years ago and currently have a home setup that costs as much as the average family car. My taste leans toward non-fatiguing and laid back with tonal and harmonic richness being very important to me (my home rigs are all tube amps). Now, I’m going to emphasize these are NOT the most accurate sounding earbud IEMs you can buy/ be heard/ etc…. They are not the richest, the cleanest, the clearest… and especially because they are challenging fit in some ears they may sound just ‘ok’ or even bad to some… But they are by far my favorite fun set right now. For me they are very comfortable and the music is so engaging I just don’t want to skip a track. They bring you close to the music (which I typical like a more laidback, far away sound as I said) but are not fatiguing with that fake pumped up mid-bass as many are, they lean their bass emphasis to sub bass. Mid-to-Highs freq ranges are a little *little* strident and ragged. However that’s going to be the price you pay for such a cheap set… They really do play deep bass well and have a sound reminiscent of floor standing home audio, not ‘car audio’ with that pressurizing bass you get with 12” subs in your trunk. I feel a lot of “IEM enthusiasts” haven’t listened to live music or hifi that can actually reproduce bass below 80hz and forget / have no idea the importance or engagement that can bring to well recorded music. So forget value, these are just great fun to listen to! NOTE: It’s very important to me my earbuds sound as good as possible with my apple iPhone adapter dongle and Spotify as for my typical use I can’t be burdened with outboard DACs, adapters, etc…. The only changes I have made for this review are Comply foam tips (highly recommended). The standard wire is rather nice for my use and the built in remote/mic come in handy. I do have a high quality thick replacement cable on one of my sets right now (yes I bought more) and took a photo for you guys. This changes the sound slightly but isn’t necessary as with some hard to drive earbud/IEM sets. These are very easy to drive, very efficient. Yeah. I need to wrap this up. Just buy them… then buy a bunch of other sets as gifts for friends. Great pair to get someone hooked into high end audio.

Great, full sound. Fuller (stronger bass) than earphones with smaller drivers and somewhat more airy, more of a feel of larger (even open-back) headphones. Good build quality. Nice cable and connectors. 90 degrees connector to the device. Not great for phones, okay for laptops with side audio connector. I like the microphone - it clearly picks up my voice while not picking up the noise of my window air-conditioner. Cable is shorter than on my other wired headphones. An advantage when using with a phone or tablet in my hand but cannot use these with my mini-PC that sits under my desk.

I was hooked by my original ZS1 dual driver KS. The sound was so impeccable for such a low price earbud and it had bass to die for. Long story short, after several pairs of multi-driver headphones from KZ, I come back to one of their cheapest sets yet. And I LOVE them. Bass is less boomy, more refined, and with more sub-bass potential. They also sound much better in the high end then you'd think possible for a single driver headphone. Not quite on the level of the ZS5 or ZS10, but crisp and clear enough to not get lost when it's thumping out electric bass lows or even earth-shaking organ lows. Best pair of KZ headphones yet. They should make THESE into their bluetooth headsets instead of the bass-weak S1 and even S2 sets. Headphone bargain of the century.

I got these earbud because I needed something that was wired (compatible with the soundpack I am using) that would loop over my ear and stay in while I play guitar. This product is good but the major reason that I got it was so that I wouldn't have to keep adjusting the earpiece while I play. The wire that is supposed to loop around the back of my ear is not quite stiff enough and needs to be curved in a tighter arch so that it would hold on instead of being yanked out by the wire as I move around. For this reason I have reviewed the produt much lower than I otherwise would. The price range is good, but this is a problem for someone useing these as ears while playing an instrument.

Sound quality is great. Nice sturdy cords...you can replace if lost. Cool see through cover is fun. Different size ear pieces are included. Great product at a good price.

If you want to listen to music on the go, just go with Sony Bass earbuds instead. Sound quality wasn’t too bad but putting these things on your ear is a pain.

These headphones are a great value. Comfortable, good sound profile. Cable is a bit short, but the cable is detachable so you can replace it if need be.

Bin kein Audioexperte, aber finde, mit denen klingt Musik besser als mit so manchem anderen Kopfhörer.

Nonostante siano state usate per 30 ore o più, non hanno avuto un miglioramento percepibile. Suono disomogeneo con prevalenza sui bassi, impastato con una risposta tutt'altro che uniforme ma, neanche accondiscendente verso certi generi musicali Per me da bocciare.

Me encantó debido al sonido tan natural que tiene, llegó en pocos días, te lo recomiendo por el precio y si te gusta el bass no es lo mejor del mundo pero es magnífico por el precio, buena construcción, muy cómodo, a lo mejor cambiar el cable.

Ces écouteurs sont exceptionnels, et je connais bien les iem possédant d'autres bien plus chers. Comme les critiques naissantes des premiers retours sur les forums spécialisés, on ne peut que dire les mêmes choses : non seulement c'est une affaire à ce prix mais ce serait encore un bon choix à 50 euros ... Voire plus. Sincèrement n'hésitez pas, le son est ample et aussi détaillé sans duretés, la scène est large, la cohérence est équilibrée, les basses fortes sans manger les médiums, les aigus fins. Le confort est très bon, KBEAR a ici fait un boîtier de petite taille, bien arrondi. Alors certes il manque la présence élégante des iem de haut niveau, le son n'est pas aussi texturé, un peu en V comme souvent mais c'est si agréable. D'ailleurs les constructeurs reviennent aux hp uniques dans ces iem en coque, et c'est bon pour les cohérences des spectres sonores sans voir "basse milieu haut" en sons divisés ! Les petits iem ont des HP uniques, mais moins de scène large et vivante. Ici c'est vivant et expressif. Une précision, ils sont ok pour le sport, tenants bien dans l'oreille et légers. Excellent et extraordinaire rapport Q/P !

Parfait pour ecouter de la musique léger confortable ainsi qu'une quantité sonore irréprochable.
