I recently bought this gray "old lady" wig for a Halloween Bunco party, where we were all supposed to dress like old ladies, and it was a total hit! The wig has the perfect mix of gray tones that made it look authentically aged, and it was just the right style to complete my old lady costume. The wig was easy to wear, with a comfortable fit. It stayed in place throughout the entire evening, even during all the fun and games. I was impressed with how realistic it looked, and it added a fun, quirky touch to my outfit. Everyone at the party loved it, and it made my costume stand out. If you need a fun, affordable wig for a costume party, I definitely recommend this one it's a great choice for anyone dressing up as an "old lady"!

I used to have REALLY thick hair growing up, then I developed hypothyroidism and my hair started falling out, mostly on top. I went for 30 years thankful I had so much I could lose quite a bit without people noticing. Then at age 64 I had gastric bypass so I could have my knee replaced; the doctors won't do it unless I lose about 60 pounds. One of the side effects of the surgery is hair loss and let me tell you my hair line has taken a big hit and on top I can see my scalp showing through, so I bought myself this wig. You Tube saved me on this; I watched as many videos as I could and was prepared for the horror show that happened when I first put it on. I had measured my head and believe it or not this thing fits my big ol' 23 inch head. It has the little elastic ribbons on the rear sides you can hook to make it the size you need. I'm on the last notch, lol! But like I said, horror show! But you know what? I just started working with it using my wide tooth afro pick for the combing and another wide toothed pick for lifting, just working with it and fixing it like I would if my own hair was a mess. I cut it where I needed to--the bangs were a little long--and another place on the right front of the face looks like it was put in sideways--I just tuck that underneath everything. My sister can't even tell I have it on! I used to be really big on putting hot rollers in my hair every day so people are used to seeing me with fixed hair and she thinks I've started that again. My mom even keeps commenting on how pretty my hair looks; she doesn't know it's a wig, either. Girls, this thing has a LOT of hair, just lots. So, watch some videos to learn how to handle wigs, how to measure your head, how to care for them, everything you need to know, then order it and put it on. Fix it like you would your own hair and be prepared for a little itches now and then. My head is so damn big I can't find a stocking cap to fit, but I do use a band. It's just like anything else, you have to practice at it before it really gets good. Today is the 4th time I've worn it and I as happy as a kid at Christmas! It looks great!

Bought this for a "Karen" costume. Decent wig, looks the part, has an adjustable strap inside but as someone with a large head and a lot of hair it only just fits and covers.

I am new to wearing wigs for fashion, getting into it after my post COVID quarantine haircut was not that good and way shorter than could be salvaged. This wig is my fourth wig that I've purchased in total, but the first from this vendor and this brand, and how nice it is right out of the bag it comes in, especially at this price point, just blew me away. My previous three were all big name brands and I've ended up having to spend a lot of time on them before wearing them in public, either because they seem to be perpetually too small, even the large cap size for my 22.75" head, or do not look like what I thought I was buying, or just crappy quality control with matted perma-tease - I've had all of these problems with just three $100 plus wigs. This wig, though, I took it out of the bag, gave it a shake, put it on and fixed it how I wanted to wear it with my fingers, and it stayed that way for the hour or so I wore it - no products required. The first wearing was just around the house, but I would have no problem wearing it out to dinner or shopping. It is the best version of a "shake and go" wig I've yet seen. It fits and has lots of adjustment capability, it's hassle-free, and it's not "wiggy" looking after a run through and a little face framing with the fingers. Some things about it that others may want to know: 1) It's dense, without feeling like too much hair (for me anyway - I like fuller wigs). I don't have a scale and I can't say for sure how much it weighs, but it is heavier than any wig I have. The fiber on it is thick, which is probably where the extra weight comes from. I am aware of it being there while I have it on. 2) Since it's a short wig that is shorter around the temple, I have to use a wig band with my not quite shoulder length hair. If you order one that is somewhere in the ballpark of the color of hair you have, you might be able to get away without a band and use combs or bobby pins to secure it instead. I had problems with my baby hairs sticking out that are much lighter than the wig and the band was what worked for me. 3) I find that the ends of the thicker fiber can occasionally be a little itchy. A slight, occasional itch where the ends brush against my skin when I move my head. I haven't had a wig yet that didn't have some little itch associated with it and this one is no different. I am hoping that wear and washing will soften it and help with this. 4) It's a warmer wig. It has a standard open, machine-made cap, but I wouldn't wear it to an outside event in hot weather or to do manual labor. I did some household chores while wearing it, and got rather warm underneath. But sitting in A/C at the computer it's fine. It will be great in winter, that's for sure.
