Relentless Paperback – 28 May 2020

As a fellow Sapper, having worked the circuit I couldn't put Dean book down. It was an amazing read, I felt all the highs and lows.Thank a million Dean, you are truly inspirational and a true professional.I highly recommend you read this book, it give an personal insight from the early day as a young lad, his outstanding career with the Corps including his SF journey to his T1 Security Operator gigs.Move fast, stay low. We have just shipped our Motorhome to Canada, from the U.K., to drive the PanAm so for someone to cycle it I take my hat off to. One hell of an achievementA brilliant read. You feel like you’re with him.

I first heard of Dean Stott when he was on the Jocko podcast (also highly recommended), the podcast and book dovetail together beautifully. There are parts of the book that weren’t covered in the podcast and lots of bits that were but had extra detail added when they were talking.Dean has less an interesting life and despite setbacks keep smashing his goals and searching for nee challenges, very inspirational and also entertaining.

Thankfully I was on holiday when this book was released so I was able to read the whole thing within a day. It is an extremely well written book that was easy to read and opened my eyes not only to Deans pursuit of excellence but also to his incredible strength of mind and body. It takes a special person to do what he has done and he has written this book truthfully and from the heart. Dean takes you from his childhood, into his military career, the accident which brought his world crashing down and the challenge which brought him up again. If this is the only book you buy this year you will not regret it. I can’t wait to see what he is up to next.

What a great story and i find it hard too read but was told in such a way I binge read this book and had some laughs with it

This book arrived at 1pm yesterday. As the title suggests I was in for a relentless time. Less than 12 hours later I had finished it having delved into the mindset of one of the most extraordinary human beings on our planet.This book is more than your run of the mill super soldier smashes stuff. It has that of course, but it's also an honest tale of a man with the most singular vision of being the best in everything he does. The troubles of dealing with extreme adversity both in the military & after it. Seeking it out time & again to push himself where mere mortals fear to tread.Relentless is a book that will stay with me for a very long time as it has an infectious quality of making the reader believe that with the right attitude the seemingly impossible is very achievable.

Sometimes you read someone's life, what they've been through, what they've done and it motivates you for a day. But then you pick up a book like Dean's and it makes you a better person for a life time. Deans story truly shows you that anything you set you mind to you can achieve. It's taken me back out my comfort zone, making me want to be a better person and I cannot recommend this book enough

You can't fail to be impressed but this guy's achievements. Can make 'normal'lives seem mundane but his point is We can all achieve more of we are just prepared to give it a go, he just takes it to extremes. It's a good read👍

Great lessons from a hard, empathetic human. Simple as that. Thirteen word minimum is awesome is it not? Yay potatoes.

Really good biography. Interesting stories, well written with a lot of humour, especially regarding his time in the military.The World Record is a challenge one can hardly imagine. Huge respect for this achievement, doesn't matter it lasted only a few months.
