The HiVi M3N 3" full-range speaker, with its shielded magnet structure, seamlessly integrates into audio/video and multimedia systems. It can function as a midrange unit in a three-way system within a small closed box, and its excellent low-frequency extension (97 Hz) in a vented enclosure enables use in a 2-way two-driver or MTM setup. The M3N boasts a magnesium/aluminum alloy cone, stamped frame, and a high-temperature voice coil and bobbin. Review: Great drivers, misleading image - I bought these to replace the midranges on a pair of SS-B3000's because, after installing crossovers, I found the midranges that came with them couldn't handle the frequency range. In that application, they work great. They filled out the frequency range nicely and now my speakers no longer sound harsh because of the clipping. Don't be fooled by the picture; the driver is not bright yellow, it's copper, and it looks much classier than it does in the image. Review: Used to replace midrange on my Klipsch Pro Media left speaker... - Not a perfect fit cause magnet is a bit big so i just sits in the speaker cabinet a bit but hey ...better to have two speakers than one and it's only [...]..so what do you expect. you can redrill the holes to make it fit but too lazy to do it.. i have mackies if i really want good sound. this is just basic computer speakers for news broadcast and you tube stuff.

Great drivers, misleading image

Great quality for the price.
I didnt like the one week wait on postage. But it works very well for the DIY BLUETOOTH IM BUILDING.

sounds awesome!
I bought 2 of these to make a pair of PVC speakers. When I finished the project I could not believe the sound from them! They handle the high & the low frequencies with no problems.

Good product and a good price
Good product and a good price. It is not a high efficiency speaker so it is best with an amp with more than a couple watts of power

It fits nicely into the end of 3" PVC pipe
I put the driver into a sealed enclosure. It fits nicely into the end of 3" PVC pipe. The highs are slightly distorted and bass below 100hz is weak (as expected). The midrange is superb with excellent dynamics and distortion/coloration on par with some electrostatics I was comparing them to.
