Rope is perfect and works just as advertised. Best suited for a side by side or small SUV. If you have anything bigger go for the 7/8 bubba rope. Works much better than a kinetic strap as the rope stretches significantly more.

Well, this rope paid for itself on the first day out. I bought this for my Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon, and I got it stuck in some mud when out with a buddy in his Land Cruiser. I hit a mud hole with a steep hidden lip at the end and slid into some deep ruts and ended up high centered. All four tires were touching nothing but muddy water. My buddy hooked up his 30' tow strap to pull me out forward, but I wasn't budging and he was digging into the sandy soil. So we tried backward, but I still wasn't budging, I was dead weight and his traction wasn't good enough. So we tried the Bubba rope going forward, and that lip wasn't letting me move. So we tried backwards with the Bubba Rope. The issue there was I was in more than 20' of water, so we had to use the strap to extend the rope... not ideal but it was the best we could do. He was cautious with the running start, as never having used a kinetic rope. Once he got more comfortable with it, it took about 5-6 small running starts to inch me back to where I caught bottom, and then was easily able to back out. I might have been able to shovel out, but that didn't sound fun. I might have been able to split some logs and get them under my tires for traction, but that didn't sound fun either. The straps weren't going to get it done. But the Bubba Rope did! And no, neither of us have a winch yet. But I'm petty sure with this rope I can get out of most stucks in the area we wheel.

the best part about this rope is that when it stretches you can bet that it will not break

Great recovery rope, especially in mud/sand recoveries, it gives extra without the punches of regular tow ropes. Pros: Extremely sturdy Perfect for mud/sand recoveries Cons: DON'T tow with it, it's not a tow rope! Doesn't work well on boulders/asphalt/anything with abrasive edges.

I pulled out two stuck semis and one UPS truck with my Tacoma and this rope. Then I drove around with it hanging out of my truck for several miles dragging it through ice and snow down the road. The threads are roughed up on the outside but it performs like new still. I put this rope way past manufacturers recommendations and it held up great.
