Searched on You Tube for a video to install this filter. Could not have been easier. It is tight fight, so the fit must be placed properly so the clips on the outside case can be closed. Easy DIY project and a nice cost savings over having the dealer or mechanic doing it.

Exact fit for 2024 Subaru Outback. Dram does it again.

The fit was questionable for a 2022 Crosstrek. It fit, but left about a 1/4" play side to side. Ok, but will probably look for something else next time. I always buy fram for my American cars with no problems.

2022 Subaru Outback was a tight fit with the gasket ring but the filter did fit nonetheless. Easy to replace with no tools needed (other than maybe a flashlight). Save yourself some money and replace the filter yourself. Fifteen bucks for the filter (give or take a few dollars) and there’s absolutely no need to pay the dealer four times that, or more, for something that takes literally THIRTY SECONDS to do.

Dear, FRAM, the engine air filter is a typical FRAM air filter - EXCEPT, it got squashed during shipping. FRAM should be smart enough to know that if you take an air filter in its flimsy cardboard box, and ship it in a plastic shipping bag, it is very likely that it is going to get damaged during shipping. I'm honestly surprised that I have to point this out. Since you are obviously not smart enough to realize that this is poor packaging for shipping an air filter, this is the last time I'll ever order - or buy - a FRAM air filter anywhere. You've lost my business forever. BUYER BEWARE!

Fits my Subaru Outback Wilderness 2022 perfectly. Good price for the quality.

Purchased to fit in a 2020 Subaru Crosstrek. Its a bit snug when closing up the filter housing probably because the plastic foam frame is a bit denser than on the OEM filter, but it fits cleanly into the housing and closed OK with a bit of effort. The Fram filter definitely has fewer folds than the Subaru OEM filter but this may not matter too much if you replace the filter every 18-20 Km as recommended.
