It came with a tool to help poke holes to place. It was a great addition to a poster. The battery pack came with adhesive to stick to the back. This was a great product and would buy again.

I was apprehensive buying these because some reviews said they didn’t work. However my child used them to go with a dance proposal poster and they worked perfectly. Very happy with the finished product.

Wonderful for projects and easy to use

This product is actually so cool. I made a senior banner with them and got so many compliments. I also was able to reuse them. I tried to not use the poker that comes with them but it's definitely necessary to use the poker.

Great upgrade to any poster! Great for concerts. Easy to use.

For this price, I wasn't expecting much … or reliability. But I was pleasantly surprised to see the lights survive a 3 day convention while inserted and removed from my poster and being turned on and off many times. Other inexpensive items like this would have failed from the get go. The battery pack has it's own adhesive strips, so there was no dilemma about how to securely attach it to the poster during transport. I didn't use the flash/twinkle option, but it certainly would draw some attention if you did.

These are really just battery operated string lights that you can get from anywhere. They don't have to be the ones that stayed there for posters. I honestly thought they would have little clips to go onto a poster board and make more of a marquee. Style sign, but we had to tape them on or poke holes. So overall, not impressed for the price. I could have bought Many more fairy lights for the price.
