I used these with a foam gun to add spray foam to cracks left by our TERRIBLE builder (PULTE). They helps focus the foam to the proper areas and worked great. Make sure to push them on firmly so they dont leak.

One time time use but worked well

My gun came with a pack of these and I made the assumption that they would be cheap and easy to find so I didn't take the best care of them to start with. When it came time to replace them I went to a few of the big box stores and described what I was looking for and got "that would be a great thing to make, if we have it it would be over there." (neither the orange nor the blue place had it). If you have the pro gun you know what these are and how they work, they are the exact same part that came with your gun the first time. I know take care of them rinsing them with acetone when I am done and blowing them out with compressed air and each one will last through several jobs. I knocked one star off because I feel that a longer straw would be helpful in getting into some tight sport (the gun and can find plenty of things to get caught on) and the plastic could be a little more resistant to bending so as to allow additional control over where the foam is applied.

I used thsee when adding insulation in my shop. I used 4" insulation board in the ceiling and the gun was too wide to fit between the foam board and trusses. These tips were perfect for piercing the foam at the truss for an air tight seal after applying the foam. It would have been perfect if I could have found something like this in stainless or brass.

Fits

For anyone that uses spray foam, we all know it is not easy for the tips to get in the small cracks and headers. This is a must have to get all the areas around windows and doors!

I like these over other tips. These can be reused several times. Just let it set up and it pulls out later. You can also spray it out with the gun cleaner as soon as you are finished using it. These also are durable and stay on the gun while in use. I have never had one come off, unlike those small or long white translucent tips.
