This part really helps to keep you on the floor and not have to keep moving scaffolding around if you can't reach the ceiling. Great time saver

It’s good. Clamps on tight and secure.

First thing is in order to get the handle to slide over the end of my 24" (Marshaltown brand) skimming tool I had to file off on the inside of the handle. It wouldn't even slide on. Once started I had to tap it to center with a small hammer light enough to not damage it. Then once I finally got the chance to use it with a handle it just simply isn't sturdy enough. With it's single side attachment prom pole to tool if you put any kind of pressure it flexes not allowing even pressure along the blade. Plus the opposite side from the angle adjust will twist causing the knife to pull along at an angle. Make it better Marshaltown by attaching bothe sides and a bolt that sinches the teeth together on the left and right side. Then taper it down to a centered handle.. Had I known how cheaply made the handle was I would had went with another brand skimming too

for such a simple item it does need to be stiff and snug so when using the skimming tool on a pole the whole thing leaves perfect coating. i could not have been able to do the job on the ceiling to the level i did without it. A several hour job with ladders was reduced to 30 minutes with this small item and 24" skimming trowel. well worth the cost in time and frustration as i skim coated over popcorn ceiling.
