I am very happy with the purchase I bought 4 of them with 3 gangs each 1 month ago, the look is very beautiful, the quality is good, the feel of the buttons is very smooth, but what I like the most is the automation that gives you the ability to create 3 ways, 4 ways, different scenographies to illuminate different sections of the house with the phone application and also to be able to turn the lights on and off when you are not at home. However, the installation instructions are not clear enough with some issues you may have, being them the reason for the bad reviews here on Amazon. I've faced 2 so far 1) Not being able to make the switch work: The instructions and most of the tutorials you find on the internet are for switches with a single gang, but for two or three gangs there is a fundamental step that is skipped, the capacitor must be in the circuit connected to line 1, any other line will not turn on the switch. 2) After 1 or 2 days of use and intermittently, the buttons of one of the switches started flashing and stopped responding, also the lights were flashing. So I checked the installation of that switch again to find out 2 things: a) Line 1 wires were a series circuit that turned on multiple bulbs in 2 different sections of the house and the capacitor was located on the bulb furthest from the switch. b) One of the capacitor cables was not properly connected. So I moved the capacitor to the bulb closest to the switch and made sure both sides of the capacitor were properly seated. Now I have few weeks since installation with no problem, hope this saves someone headaches.

I'm an idiot! I went to return this light switch, had it packaged ready to go. I don't like quiting. The trick into making this light switch work perfectly is the CAPACITOR! Place the two prongs of the capacitor on each side of you light bulb receiver i.e. one to silver screw and on two the bronze screw. This helps by creating a millivolt circuit. So the light switch will work. As you touch the switch you ground out the millivolt circuit. I ❤️ this switch and going to buy alot more for my 1929 home that does not have a neutral "white" circuit‼️😛👍Hope this helps EVERYONE 🙏🦉

Installation was relatively straightforward, but it does require installing a capacitor at the light fixture. Initial connection to the home network went smoothly. After about 6 months the switch began dropping the connection, only occasionally at first, then more and more frequently. After about 9 months it wouldn't stay connected for more than 24 hours. The only way to get it to reconnect was to cycle power to the switch/lights at the breaker. I moved it to a separate SSID, used only the 2.4GHz frequency, and followed all of the other instructions. At this point, this is no longer a smart switch, as it isn't worth it to flip the breaker every day.

Oddly, I have one switch box which has a neutral wire and I installed a smart dimmer. In the same bathroom, another switch box had no neutral wire so I sought out this smart switch. Installation was as easy as possible. The switch itself is pretty nice with a glass faceplate which is even capacitive touch. Apparently, in my case, the additional capacitor was not needed at all. My only gripe is that a smart switch like this with such a sleek, cool look could at least have been illuminated when switched off so that it can be found easily in the dark. Oddly, the center circle is lit when the light is in the "ON" position. UPDATE - My mistake. The center circle can be toggled to illuminate while ON or while OFF via the Smart Life App. As such, this is perfect for anyone that needs a smart switch where no neutral wire is available. I changed my rating to 5 stars.

The product works fine but instalation was a bit vague when installing the capacitor. You can either install it at the light bulb or at the switch. One end just needs to connect to L1 and the other on the return line. Also the instructions gives you a qr code to install the Moes app but I was unable to find the switch. There is a qr code to install the switch so I scanned it and was following the instructions to add and the instructions on the app seem to be wrong. It stated the wifi light should be blinking slowly but my switch was blinking fast and the wifi symbol wasn't blinking just the button to turn the switch off and on. Tried resetting per instructions but the light stayed the same. Was going to give up and return it but since the instructions states to either download the Moes or Tuya app, I decided to install the Tuya app to see if there was a difference. Thankfully after installing the Tuya app I was able to add the device seamlessly. Hopefully this will save a lot of people time.

After 2 and a half years of use (and no issues), now the switch seems to think we live in a haunted house and the lights should randomly turn on and off at odd (or all) hours. (It’s not Alexa’s fault. I have checked) To be fair, I suppose that isn’t a horrible lifespan. But considering my WiFi plugs and normal (non-WiFi) switches, that’s a really short time.

anteriormente había comprado dos smart switches regulares, sin saber si tenia cable neutro en la casa, por desgracia nunca prendieron por que no tengo cable neutro. Comprar este modelo de switches fue mi solución para no tener que re cablear mi casa, solo tuve que ponerle el capacitor que viene incluido a uno solo de los focos y listo, no me tarde mas de 15 min y todo funciona perfecto desde la app de "Smart life". Ahora puedo automatizar los horarios en que prende y apaga la luz de la puerta de la entrada, y también el ventilador de mi sala. Tengo Alexa y Google home, y sirve con los dos.

Comes with full instructions. As long as you are comfortable with home electrical work, it shouldn't be an issue.

Lo más importante, no necesitas conexión neutro, con el capacitor funciona muy bien, solo tuve problemas al inicio ya que al apagar las luces parpadeaban, lo que hice fue solo cambiar el capacitor a otro foco y funcionó al cien.
