LIQUID GOLD. Worked in my bathrooms, kitchen, etc. Worked ON EVERY TYPE OF CLOG- GREAT FIND, WILL BUY AGAN A+++
I was definitely very hesitant buying this particular form of Drano, because I did not need it for the kitchen sink. I needed it for the bathroom sink that I share with my four-year-old niece who uses entirely too much toothpaste.. That she graciously leaves all over the sink and drain part.. Lol So when I run the water for a long time - like when I am brushing my teeth.. Yes, I know I should turn it off to save water... but That's a discussion for another time! - the water starts backing up.. standing but not totally still, but definitely draining very very slow. We only moved into this house two months ago, and another little girl lived here before us, so who knows what she did as well. Lol i'm sure there are plenty of globs of spit, boogers, loogies, ew you name it. Also, I have witnessed her put cat food down the sink, and those are only what I have witnessed. lol and I have definitely found Evidence of other foreign material that should not be in the bathroom sink. So honestly, I had no idea what kind of clogg I was battling. The way our sink is set up, it's not really practical for hair to casually fall into the drain, the hair falls on the ground. unless, for some reason, you are sitting on top of the sink...but that's not how people brush their hair.Anyway so I ended up putting about three heaping tablespoons of these crystals into the bathroom sink drain. The first heap I removed the stopper for. The second two I left the stopper in, and with a spoon kind of pushed them down the drain, to hopefully remove some of the built up scum on the stopper. I also ran water down the pipe ahead of time. The only reason I added three, was because I did not hear this notorious "hissing noise" or smoke, that everyone claims. When I put this in my kitchen sink just for extra cleaning purposes, it did crackle and smoke though. Anyway, back to the bathroom sink.. I waited 20 mins I ran cold water down the pipes and they seemed fine. It is been a day now, and I brush my teeth about 5 to 6 times a day.. Lol I may have some OCD, but so far it has been draining perfectly. I am beyond thrilled because we have tried everything in that sink!!! My mom had been complaining about an odor in her bathroom sinks, so I added these to hers, and now both her bathroom sinks no longer have that odor, thank goodness. Oh, I used it in our sinks with disposals, as well, and has no adverse reactions :)OVERALL- VERY HAPPY. Worked on every single sink in the house! This will be my new go-to product, unless for whatever reason it won't unclog this hypothetical clog, but I HIGHLY doubt that. This stuff worked on all the sinks that didn't have anything to do with the claim to fame "kitchen sink unclogger" , lol more like "UNCLOGS ANYTHING". Srsly, I don't see how the heat action could not unclog basically anything. I'm so glad I tried this FIRST. This is an amazing product. Also, I used this on 6 sinks and still have over half left. This will last quite some time, especially since i know I used more than needed .. Lol I just wanted that damn funky gunky clog gone!

Exceptional Product! Pricing?...not so much
This product, hands down, is the most effective Drano product that I have ever seen. Bottom line...it works!Granted, my clog issues haven't been horrendous but, the other products just didn't or couldn't get the job done. This? - easy to use (be sure to follow the directions to avoid those fumes), and effective.About the price, the current retailer should be ashamed of themselves. I bought this back in January from another retailer here on Amazon for $15. Now this retailer wants $70? For 1 can? ---Ridiculous!

THIS IS A RIP-OFF! DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE!
This is NOT a 6-pack as advertised and the shipping weight is NOT 9 lbs. as described, as it would be if this was for six cans of product. They are selling you a single can of Drano for, in my case (I have no idea why), $10.09 plus $10.50 shipping. They refunded me the shipping cost when I complained, but over ten bucks for a single can of Drano? Ridiculous.

I was skeptical, but it really does work!
I was skeptical about the effectiveness of this product because it uses crystals instead of traditional liquid. However, based on the excellent customer reviews, I decided to give the Drano Kitchen Crystals Drain Opener a shot, and boy am I glad I did! I used this on a slow kitchen sink drain, and after just one application, the drain was operating at 100% efficiency! The fact that you just need one heaping tablespoon of crystals per application, plus one cup of cold water and 15 minutes, makes the Drano Kitchen Crystals an excellent value over traditional liquid drain openers when used on slow drains with grease and food clogs, which is what the crystals are recommended for. For slow drains with standing water, you should use the Drano Max Gel, and for slow drains with pipe buildup, you should use the Drano Foamer. Do not use the Drano Kitchen Crystals in the toilet or in sinks with disposals. This product is safe on septic systems. Because of the efficiency and effectiveness of this product, I would not hesitate to purchase this again, though it will probably be a while before I will need to. If you are on the fence about trying this product, come join us on the other side... you will be glad you did!

So so...would recommend liquid instead
This product received very high ratings, which is why I decided to give it a try. But unfortunately, it just didn't cut it for my needs. It left a lot of residue (scraps of what looks like metal) in sink that took some effort to wash away. I had a pretty strong clog, and this product simply did not clear it. I followed the directions and went through the entire process twice, but it only partially cleared the clog.I borrowed a bottle of generic brand Draino from my roommate and applied THAT twice, which ended up doing the job.If you are looking for a weaker drain clearing solution, this might do it for you. But for strong instances, try something else. I am actually unsure why particles would be advantageous to liquid going down a sink..........

Not worth the time or money
I had not used Drano crystals in years and years, but I had a lavatory drain that would not go down, so I said what the heck, and bought this can of the stuff. I used this can over about a 4 day period trying to get my drain, which is only about 8 feet from the tie in to the main sewage line leading from my house, to open, but no deal. I ended calling a blumber to come with his rotor rooter to open the thing, and it has drained well since. Sometimes it takes a little reminder to tell us why we don't do the things that we used to do.
