Zilla Mini Heat & UVB Fixture

I use these lights on my Leopard Gecko cages. Some people say they do not need light. I subscribe to the fact that in nature the do have light and do come out before dark. Some amount of light is beneficial. It also helps them keep night and day straight. They provide a pretty good amount of heat for a small light as well. They are good for smaller terrariums or animals. Pay attention to the range for UVB lamp and the heat ratings of the various wattage bulbs. My cages are 18x24x12. I use the desert bulb in one that I bought from Petco as it was cheaper than Amazon and I could pick it up. I have the tropical in the other because I bought it for another purpose. That one was cheaper on Amazon. I plan to change that one with the Desert bulb soon.

It is very low profile which is exactly what I was looking for (only 2 inches tall if I remember right) . Its surprisingly sturdy and built with good materials. I use it with their compact fluorescent tube and the 50w daylight white halogen bulbs.

Good compact light/heat lamp combo. Sits perfectly on top of my gecko enclosure, very well built as well. can’t find a single thing to complain about.
