Hard hat light
It is exactly what I needed for my hard hat working in a chemical plant at nigh. Very bright, LED, high and low setting to make the light bright or dim, compact and rugged

nice light
the light is nice, easy to use and simple. the clip that came with the light does-not fit the mount that came with it very well at all?? I have a hard hat that has the same (exact) mount in it. does-not work well?? I will be modifying the clip so that it will fit the mount better.

Explosives beware
Having worked in many explosive atmospheres, I can attest to how good this lights up hard to see areas to get the job done.

bright beam
Works great for looking into dark areas. I work in a natural gas environment, so the light has to be intrinsically safe. The beam is wide, so you don't need to have the lamp pointed directly at what you want to see.

Not bad but not great either
I bought this light to be used as a hard hat light on a mine site. The light part of it is really good BUT! there's an aggravating weak link in the design. The longer it's been on my hard hat the worse the hinge is getting. The hinge wasn't bad for the first few weeks but now it's gotten so sloppy that I'm considering just gluing the light into place. The construction other than the hinge isn't bad and the light it's self is good.

Great value
Easy to pop on and off which is definitely a useful feature around industrial equipment. The flood light function is really only helpful at or after dusk but is definitely useful for those late shifts.

Dual light gives great flexibility in lighting needs
Dual light gives great flexibility in lighting needs. Flood light ligthing up the whole area in front of you. The rubber strap that comes with it makes sure your light stays on your hard hat no matter what. Battery life is good for the amount of light it gives off.

This product works great. I am able to use my welding shield with the bracket on my bucket. But u are not able.to use flip cutting shields with the bracket on. But safety third lol
