Instant Ginger Honey Crystals (18g)

This was a repurchase for me. I first found this at Winner/Marshalls. Loved this. When I ran out I was so happy to find it available on Amazon. It tasted great on its own with hot water. However I brew in my chai everyday. I truly believe this is what has kept the flu away so far this fall/winter. Knock on wood. One individual packet can get you 3 or 4 uses. You don't need it use it all in one cup. It's very potent. I highly recommend this product.

I like 3 things about these (the single use packets) 1. The ingredients: Cane sugar, ginger, honey, glucose. 2. They stop my coughing 3. They taste good, consistently. I have lung issues which are aggravated if I cough a lot. So, when that happens, I immediately grab one of these packets, and the cough stops. During the winter, I will also crave these few times. So, a box lasts me about a year...unless I get sick more that year. I no longer buy any cough syrup or need any Rxs when I cough. So, I like these. I have given them to others, with good responses on the flavor, too.

I use this alone, in my ginger/jujube/Goji berry evening tea, in my matcha and regular Assam tea Chai, in marinades and sauces for stir-fry, and finally, in baking: spice cake, ginger/spice and chai cookies AND in some “blondies” I make with a ginger/Cardamon/cinnamon spice topping. I can’t brag on this enough! I live in a rural area, and I don’t drive (legally blind), which limits me to one store. They RARELY have ginger root. So, I started experimenting with crystallized ginger and freeze-dried ginger from Amazon. The former often showed up covered in mold. The latter, every one I tried-was tasteless. These crystals were PERFECT! They have the zing, with just enough honey, it doesn’t bother me to put it in a stir fry. GREAT Product!
