K-FLEX 1-1/2" x 6 ft. Pipe Insulation, 3/4" Wall

If you're looking for top-notch insulation, look no further! This insulation outshines what you typically find at big box stores. During this past winter, with temperatures plummeting well below zero, it successfully kept our sump pump PVC exit pipes completely free from freezing. I found it super easy to wrap around, and it adheres really well. I can't recommend it enough!

Most domestic hot water boilers use 1 1/2" pipes on feed and discharge side of unit. You paid to heat the water so you should insulate these 2 pipes to get the heat where you need it, not in air around boiler. There is a video at vendor's site that shows exact dimensions and this IS for 1 1/2" diameter black iron pipe. The 6' length covered my pipes thoroughly with none left over. Nice product with glued seem AND additional tape for seam-over. You won't find this at LOWES or HOME DESPOT. Seems to be a professional insulators product and it works perfectly. Pays for itself quickly as a lot of heat will be lost around un-insulated pipes. Comes in a nice 6' long box, packaged well.

I purchased this to cover the pipe of my tall outside water outlet. I also purchased this item for the top of the outlet. Together, I hope I will not have any freezing of the pipes. Excellent quality and better than expected. Foam was one piece not rolled up. Excellent 2 way strong sealing system. Best I have seen -worked great for insulating water pipe inside basement from condensation.

I have used this pipe insulation for far more tasks than just fitting pipes. Mostly, I have used it to protect my well pipes from freezing in the winter. This is a highly versatile product, with superb flexibility, and adapts to many configurations. Quality is top-notch and longevity is practically guaranteed. One of my most solid home improvement purchases. Always good to have some spare tubage lying around.

Couldn’t find this size at my local store. Worked perfectly on my outdoor pipes.

I purchased this product to wrap the pipes of our irrigation system. My husband says this is durable and the "sticky" tape is strong. I'm assuming this will hold up thru the winter. Fingers crossed.
