I bought this for a family trip that I knew had no good access to coffee other than the questionable hotel room coffeemaker, which turned out as scary as I had feared. But luckily I brought this tiny box along and this coffee was exactly what I needed on the go! Drank it black, and it was highly drinkable with nothing else needed. Sermon was exactly what I needed and I don’t know what I would have done without it.

Verve Coffee is delicious! I bought the variety pack to give it a try. I have not been disappointed by the quality of the variety included. Because these are instant coffee, they're easy to use. They have the right amount of caffeine for my partner and me. Each pack is one serving. The box they come in fits nicely in our cabinet; it's about 4" x 4" x 1.5" if that matters to you. Overall, I plan to purchase from this company again.

My favorite instant decaf has been discontinued so I decided to try this one. The price is clearly much higher than any other instant decaf I've seen, but this coffee claims to be decaffeinated using the best-in-class Swiss Water method, so that's something. The coffee arrived without any special packaging, just a cardboard box with 6 single serving paper packets. Inside these packets I found coffee "chips" (see the photo) which is what happens when the coffee is stored at high temperatures and/or humidity. Since other reviews mentioned the same thing, it is clear that this coffee is either stored or shipped incorrectly resulting in this problem. As for the taste, after spending a long time stirring the coffee "chip" which slowly melts and dissolves in hot water, I can say that it tastes OK, but definitely not great. This may or may not be due to the fact that the coffee melted inside the packets because it was stored or shipped incorrectly. So, this is a hard pass for me. I still gave it 3 stars since the packaging is environmentally friendly, and it's a rare thing to find instant decaf made with the Swiss Water method.

Tastes great for instant. I dissolve my instant coffee in a bit of cold water and then add the boiling to prevent it burning. Packet dissolved easily in just 2oz of cold water. It is unpleasantly strong in just 10oz of water as recommended. I find it much better in 20oz of water, makes it last longer also. Threw a couple packs in the glove box and a few in the backpack, I'm interested to find out how they hold up to temperature changes over time. Took a star off for the price, not sure I'll buy again unless is becomes cheaper.

I'm a big fan of Verve coffee, but these did not taste great.

Somehow I missed that these came in six tiny packets. That’s completely on me. Since I bought it and couldn’t return it, I figured I’d drink it. I didn’t like the taste at all. I just wasted $17.
