Remington SP 19 Titanium MicroFlex Replacement Heads and Cutters for Titanium Microflex Rotary Shavers, Models R-950, R-960, Black

I used this brand new out of the package and my neck broke out with a painful red rash. (see photos) . I called Remington and explained my issue to customer service rep that answered the phone, Kevin. I was shocked by his response. He stated that they have not had any issues with the SP-19 and I should consult my doctor. That is not what I read on customer ratings. He asked me where I purchased it and I told him, Amazon. After I told him Amazon, he stated that he would mail me an SP-19 direct from Remington to see if it is any better. I inquired about my SP-16 that came with the razor and he says that the only difference between the SP-19 and SP-16 was the hair follicle screen and the screw length which secures it. I did ask if he could send me the SP-16 instead and after slight hesitation he said he would. I am not writing this to hurt Remington as it is the best razor that I have ever owned as far as a very close shave. My issue is the response that i received from Kevin. I am hoping that the SP-16 solves my issue so I can bring the rating up to 5 stars!!! *UPDATE* Remington sent an SP-16 replacement to me and it works very well, close shave, I am happy with the prompt customer service.

This fit my oldest cheapest and best shaver that I have ever had. Excellent description of what model it fit. Recieved it just in time for a shave. Thanks and good job to all involved, a lot of work for such a small item.

The old head covers had broken some and I got this somewhat hesitantly due to some of the reviews indicating they did not work on their old Remingtons. It fit fine on mine (an old R-845). It was my father's and I sort of inherited it when he died in 2005. So, it has sentimental value as well as functional. I am so glad that this fit and seems to be working just fine.

I love my razor, I own the Remington R-835 and it's been one of the most reliable and best money saving purchases i've made in the last 15 years! Mine actually came with the SP 16 blades, I was a little skeptic at first before ordering the SP-19 replacement model, just because the original ones were so good, but at this price I had to give it a try. FYI, I shave my head and I use the Remington instead of regular disposable razor blades and it's been a wonderful idea, have done it all this time now. I use a Norelco for my face because I like how the heads mold to the face lines, but my R-835 Remington worked best to shave my head, I get the closer shave and gets the job done in 3-5 minutes, no cuts no mess. I actually only replaced the heads/blades ONCE in 14 years! and the damn thing was still going strong. Only reason why I am buying blades now it's because it finally chipped in one of the heads-blades.

maybe it's just me... I usually rake my face with a Mach 3 and some lye soap... my doctor recommended I try going back to electric shaver, so I got these to replace the heads and blades that have been sitting for years. While it shaved my stubbled facial hair with ease and fairly quickly, it also made my face look as if I'd run it through a wood chipper! Okay, maybe not THAT bad, but I had red streaks, razor burn, and general itchiness. I cleaned the blades and heads, tried again... kept trying for about a week... it's back in the back of the cabinet where it will likely stay forever.

This did what I needed it to. Been using the same electric shaver a long time, and it was worth upgrading to new blades. Compared to shavers currently on the market, my old shaver with these blades is like a bush hog. Tough as the dickens.

Got my Remington Titanium R 950 several years ago as a present. After years of great service, It finally started choking on hair, and not cutting so well. So I found this replacement head on Amazon.com. Now it back to like new again - really awesome beard cuts -- smooth and no snagging. When I took the old head off, I couldn't believe how much beard particles had collected underneath the old blades over the years. The only negative I might have is that at 19 dollars it is a little pricey -- but well worth it for the clean shave I get.

Good blade replacement for my Remington R842. It works and cut all of the beards and hairs as expected, clean trimming. Though, I think the blade is a little bit pricey. Other than that, it is a good blade to replace my old blade.

Works great. Fit the shaver I have no problem. Easy to install, and great for the price.
