For those who prefer the traditional regency culture that these stories are placed in --- these original stories are delightful. The 2nd epilogues to each of the paperback versions are a surprising treat to read. I have purchased all 8 of the stories in the original series about the bridgerton siblings love stories and am enjoying them enormously. After becoming increasingly disappointed in the Netflix adaptations it is refreshing to read Julia Quinn stories as they were meant to be told.
