This adapter works great. The connection to the PC is strong and the sound quality is awesome. Its only negative is there is a poor excuse for a manual. I had to look up on line to find why the headset did not work. It was as simple as pressing a button, however, this was not mention in the setup guide/manual. Something this important should be included in the setup guide. Without this, the product appears not to work.

Using a Plantronics Voyager Legend with a MS Lync virtual office phone over a VPN connection everyday. I speak on the phone about 8 hours or more a day, and this adapter is fabulous in this pairing. Using the Bluetooth built into the computer was of a far lower quality, and I had a lot of challenges keeping it paired and handling any kind of movement away from the laptop. This adapter is easily giving me 30 feet or more of mobility, quickly re-establishes connectivity if I wander too far, provides easy muting capabilities that Lync recognizes, and easily integrates with this virtual office solution. When I travel into the office, my co-workers are jealous of it. It's very slick! Be warned, though; I thought they sent me an empty box! I was in the process of filing a complaint when my wife found that it had just fallen out of the holder during shipping. It's SO TINY!

This product works and works well. However the price is overwhelming. The cost of manufacture is so small compared to the sale price you cannot help from feeling cheated.

worked well for a couple of hours then constantly disconnected. I paired this with a plantronics bluetooth headset too so it cant be compatibility. May be better of using a matching pair of USB headset bundle

The BT adapter that came with my earpiece broke when my bag fell over upside down and the side of my laptop that the adapter was plugged into hit the ground first, so I bought this as a replacement for the one that came with my Voyager earpiece. This one works great, easy connection, etc. The one caveat is that unlike the original, if you do not "hang up" your earpiece (by pressing the side button as if you'd answer/hangup a call on your phone) the adapter keeps the connection open and drains the battery on the earpiece as if it was continually on a call. This is not a big deal, just a minor annoyance that if I want to use my earpiece on the computer, I have to tap the button to open or close the "line" even though they are connected. Fits the bill though, just not perfect.

Been waiting for the "CS" for awhile, the solutions from Plantronics have generally been single focused. You could either get a UC headset, deskphone headset, an IP Phone/Soft Phone headset or a mobile headset, never could you cross integrate seamlessly with only one headset. With dual pairing, I am able to use this as a both a deskphone and mobile headset. Switching between calls and function is easy while talk quality and performance of product is exceptional for a top of the range bluetooth headset. This would have been a 5 stars if it included the other essential options as a set - The Plantronics Bluetooth USB Adapter to allow UC usage and the Plantronics Charge Case.

Attempted to make a bluetooth connection with my laptop and Plantronics Legend headset though this required adapter. After pairing it zombied my laptop's sound and was difficult to get adjusted. Made a few trips to the Plantronics site and found the work-around, but it's not pretty. Running a Win7 Home Premium Laptop. Would not recommend for the faint of heart.

Was good product, but way too costly for a simple device compare to others

Ich habe einen Voyager Legend im täglichen Einsatz auf der Arbeit (Windows PC) und war auf der Suche nach einer Erweiterungsmöglichkeit für den privaten Gebrauch auf meinem MacBook Pro. Trotz des doch sehr happigen Preises von rund 90€ war es mir die Investition wert, da ich den Nutzen bereits im Arbeitsumfeld ermessen konnte. Allerdings war ich mir zu dem Zeitpunkt nicht sicher wie gut das USB-Dongle auf dem Mac arbeitet. Um es gleich zu sagen, es gab keine Reibereien und Plantronics bietet auch guten Software Support mit dazugehörigen Apps. Die Installation ist kein Problem. Dongle einstecken, Software installieren - betriebsbereit. Man kann den Dongle auch getrost dauerhaft im USB-Port stecken lassen, auch wenn es nicht in Benutzung ist. Sobald man sein Headset einschaltet, sucht es automatisch nach der nächstgelegenen Verbindung und findet dies innerhalb von ca. 5 Sekunden. Seither benutze ich mein Voyager Legend Headset als Diktiergerät für "Dragon Dictate" ohne Probleme in der Spracherkennung. Telefonieren ist selbstverständlich kein Problem. Aber war ohnehin ein "No-Brainer". Fazit: ++ Auf Mac und PC tadellose Funktion ++ Schnelle, unkomplizierte Einrichtung und Geräteerkennung +++ Für viele Plantronics Geräte verwendbar (z.B. die Plantronics Spinne oder andere PT-Headsets) und damit ein guter Allrounder. - Der Preis

Works perfectly with supported devices. Sometimes lags behind other devices as it pairs upon headset start up. Switches between devices perfectly.

Perfecto y totalmente integrado con mi Voyager Edge. Compra 100% recomendada si como yo, necesitar dar conectividad UC al Voyager Edge.

Bought after getting frustrated with the on-board bluetooth chip for my dell laptop, which is next to useless when trying to use a bluetooth headset. Makes a bluetooth headset from Plantronics work seemlesly with my laptop, just plug and play. Range is good (for me), about 6-7 meters around my house, through walls etc.

No issues so far. Working as expected. Nice product.
