Mystical Fire 12 Packs

We absolutely LOVE these when using our fire pit! They add a factor of fun to a relaxing night, and we enjoy seeing the colors dance in the flames. Highly recommend!

Kids love these for when we go camping. Pro: lots of colors and can be long lasting. Good price for amount we get. Size is good for carrying the proper amount. Con: may take awhile to catch fire

Some of these reviews are just idiotic! First off, the price is not bad at all - it's currently $9 for a pack of 12 which is $0.75 a packet. If you think that's a waste of money because you just "throw them in a fire" then clearly you've never bought any consumable products in your life and should not be leaving comments on a site that sells tons of them. Secondly, for everyone that wants to cook s'mores while using these: you realize you're using a substance that is most likely made of powderized metals to change the color of your flames, right? Is that really what you want in your food? And is the entertainment value of having green fire not high enough that you can wait the extra time to stuff candy in your face? If you think you need the chocolate and marshmallow that badly, then trust me, this product is doing you a favor in keeping you from it. These packets are a great product! Toss a couple in a fire and after a few minutes (it takes a little bit for them to get going) your fire will be glowing an awesome green/blue color. I tried them last night and they lasted 30 min - an hour. Actually, that's when I went inside from the fire, so they could have gone longer, I'm not sure. The wood was still smoldering at that point with a blue-ish hue so they were still working when I called it a night.

These are pretty fun! The colors were vibrant and dazzling to watch. The dark and light blues were most noticeable. Saw some pinks, but they were washed out by the fire's natural yellow and oranges. Definitely need to use multiple packets (3 or more) for that "wow" factor. My one complaint is the material that the packets come in. the plastic tends to bind the packet together into a thin nugget/log which can prevent the mystical crystal innards from spreading efficiently over the fire. I had more success cutting a packet open and tossing it over the fire. However, this is not recommended by the manufacturer (probably for good reason). I was careful not to inhale the contents of the packet when cutting it open, so I'm not too worried. Other than that, the only danger is getting close enough to the fire to empty out the crystals evenly. It's probably best to heed the warning on the label and just toss 1-3 packets into the center of the fire. I'll probably be picking up a few more sets of these for our winter parties. Works as advertised and it's a good value.

As a kid I remember a powder I would throw into my parents fireplace to add color to the flames. It was always a highlight of having a fire. Fast-forward too many years and now I wanted my kids to experience the same. While the packaging and use instructions are a bit different from years past the effect was still the same. All you need to do is throw 1 - 3 packets into the fire and that's it. The packaging burns away and the contents change the color of the fire. Our first try was a combination of blues and greens and lasted longer than I anticipated. My kids really enjoyed it and wanted to throw more in. We'll continue to use them during our fires. It does say not to cook over the colored flames so not sure how safe it would be for indoor use. We are using ours outside in a fire pit. I would recommend this to anyone looking for an inexpensive, fun way to change up the typical fire.

Fairly cool product. Here's the deal: the item is small packets made of plastic about the size of an instant hot chocolate pack, but more rectangular. You toss a packet in your fire, and as the fire starts to burn through the plastic, the material inside ignites and you start to see blue and green flames in your fire. The effect is neat. We used it for a fire in our fire pit during camping. To really get a cool effect you'll have to use more than one pack at a time because the effect is pretty localized on the area you threw the pack in and the packs are relatively small as mentioned before. We cut open a pack, and the material inside looks like blueish sand. We wanted to see if we could get the effect by pouring this sand directly on the fire or spreading in all over the wood, but no luck!! Not sure what is so special about the bags. They seem to be just tough plastic. But the sand only seems to burn well if it is inside the bag, as per the directions from the manufacturer. Regardless, the effect was fun. We enjoyed using it and added a little ambiance to the ghost story telling! Also, because the effect was created by chemicals, we DID NOT cook any food over the open flames. You should probably cook any hot dogs or marshmallows first before you decide to use this product. I'd buy this again because it wasn't too expensive and it added a little fun to our fire.

These are great! We use them on camping trips and the kids and adult alike love it. They come packeged small so they are easy to carry without being bulky. It lasts a few minutes but that's to be expected altho it does give a great show

Disappointed by the lack of other colours

たき火にいれると、青白い炎になって、まるでファンタジー系の怪しぃ魔法使いのシーンのようになります。 基本的には、袋を破って炎にふりかけるのが正しい使い方でしょうけど、薪火台を使った焚き火ならば、袋のまま火に投げ入れても、全然大丈夫で、その方が色の変化が楽しめます。 ただ、１袋ではたりず、２～３袋は使ってしまうので、少々高いかもしれませんし、何回もやっていると飽きるかもしれません。 がネタとしてはおもしろい、パーティグッズだと思います。

最初は、本当に大丈夫？と思いながら火に入れましたが、入れた瞬間に色がパッと変わりました。大人も子供も楽しめると思います。
