As a cocktail geek and lover of all things Dave Arnold, I purchased this the moment I heard about it. But is a $20 piece of rubber really worth it to improve the texture of your drinks? The BDX Cocktail Cube surprised me by its small footprint when I first got it. It appears slightly bigger than your standard Kold-Draft Cube and measures about 2" all around. I've included some photos for scale. While the cube is much smaller than the 3" rocks I'm used to shaking, this was designed with the addition of ice in mind. The BDX Cube does a solid job emulating the role of a large rock in egg white drinks and does indeed provide a delicious froth with a tighter, cloud-like texture. I like to take a small handful of Hoshizaki or about three to four broken up Kold-Draft to shake with the BDX Cocktail Cube. Shake, strain, dump out the cube and leftover ice, and shake again until all ice shards are gone. The results are consistent with a great airy texture. While I found that this was a touch slow to use during service, the BDX Cocktail Cube is one of the few ways you can achieve such texture at home. Review: Bezos!!! Give them their money!!! Alexa!!!!???? - This Bar accessory is the one you have been missing. Adding texture to cocktails like Margaritas or anything where you would like to have a nice creamy head this gets the job done. Love Booker and Dax! If only desertcart could work out the problem with getting a SpinZall in my hands!!! Thanks Dave Arnold and Nastasia "The Hammer" Lopez. Bezos!!! Give them their money!!! Does what it says I guess
Seems to work pretty well. Best thing about it is that it really saves a lot of ice. You only need 3-4 small cubes to chill a drink and get it plenty aerated. I don't notice any miracles though or it making cocktails notably better

Good Bye King Cubes!
I have one of those side by side fridges where the freezer is about a 1/3 the size of the fridge... terrible I know. This thing has saved me some MUCH valuable space, allowing me to dunk my horde of "King Cubes" and just use plain ol' ice from the bin. I kind of feel the texture of my cocktails are better with the BDXCC than the KC's but its hard to say... Either way, a must have for any cocktail enthusiast.

If Ice Cubes Were Magicians, This Would Be David Freaking Copperfield
Hats off to BDX. I've known about the BDX cube for a while but never felt the need to order it. I've used big ice cubes in my cocktails for a long time, and I never had a problem keeping a supply in the house. When I decided to run a cocktail night on a summer camping trip, though, I knew big ice would be impossible to keep around. Ordered, arrived, and immediately dropped in my shaker for a daquiri along with three regular freezer cubes. The cocktail came out crazily, ridiculously silky -- the BDX cube aerated this sucker better than a big ice cube ever has. Call me a convert, but even for home cocktails, I may not ever go back.

Does a great job
Super-frothy dry shake? Yes! This really kicks my Ramos Fizz up a notch. Slightly too big for my insulated shaker (with the O-ring that helps prevent egg-white explosions), but fits perfectly in the other one. Affordable, highly effective. Cannot recommend enough.

Frothy Cocktails
Big ice gives the best texture. Dave Arnold crushed it with this one.

Quality plastic and good size
Quality plastic and good size. I use this in Koriko shaker tins and it works perfectly, creating a nice foamy head.
