Cuisinart DCC-3200CS Perfectemp Coffee Maker, 14 Cup Progammable with Glass Carafe, Copper Steel

Simple to use, heats well, makes great coffee and most importantly and unlike the Ninja POS that I chucked a while ago, this coffee maker does not demand to be cleaned every 3 weeks and not work until you spend an hour cleaning the stupid thing like the Ninja. The Ninja will NOT operate after it demands to be cleaned. When the Cuisinart requires cleaning, it will still operate. The cleaning cycle for this Cuisinart is way longer than the Ninja - like 10x less often. This is a replacement unit. I’ve used this coffee maker for well over a year - until I spilled CLR on the heating pad and into the machine itself. That was not good. I let the “magic smoke” out of the Cuisinart and once that happens, the machine is cooked. Totally my fault - trying to get a mineral stain off the heating plate and I slipped with the CLR bottle. Lesson learned - “wipe”, don’t “pour” CLR on the heating element. The Cuisinart has intuitive controls, is easily programmable, makes hot coffee and cleans up well. The reason I put the particular photo of the box for this machine is because it shows that Cuisinart has gone to almost 100% fully recyclable packaging materials. I HATE styrofoam packing and to their credit, Cuisinart has gone to compressed cardboard, not polystyrene of interior packing. For a $100 mass market unit, this is a simple, effective coffee maker at a fair price - hope that helps!

This is the most expensive maker we’ve ever purchased. Normally we buy the cheap ones. But my wife loves this coffee maker! I’m not a coffee drinker but she says the coffee tastes better in this machine than it did our previous cheap machine. The coffee stays hot. It looks good on the counter. Filling it is a bit awkward using the pot but with a pitcher it is easy enough. I’m glad I made this purchase! The coffee maker began to not complete a full pot. We would have to shut it off and restart it. I called Cuisinart and they immediately sent out a replacement! Customer service as it should be!

Love the unusual copper color that makes it look so classy on my counter as well as large carafe. Only negative is the intense EXTREMELY bright light that I must wear sunglasses to even look at it to be able to turn it on. My husband had to cut out a pice of black cardboard and cover it. That bright is so unnecessary and bad for our eyes.

This coffee pot has 3 heat settings so you can get the warmth you want. It’s so great to have one that makes it actually hot. It comes with a water filter for the water chamber which makes the flavor that much better. It’s super easy to clean. The carafe has a nice pour, it doesn’t drip all over the counter. The program features are nice. I like the little beep it makes when it’s done. You can turn the noises off it’s not your thing. It also looks great on my counter.

I bought this because I am tired of having to buy a new coffee maker every 3 years. I'm delighted with it. I like that the carafe is 14 cups instead of the usual 12, it is easy to clean each evening, and has a finish that looks very nice in my kitchen. It has options I don't use such as how hot the plate is and a setting for 1-4 cups but because it looks very nice and it's easy to clean and will hopefully last longer than 3 years, I'm happy with this purchase.
