This book is like a treasure chest - you read, and between the pages you often find some kind of merch. It's really huge, and high quality item. Recommend:) The book was well packaged.

Made a great gift for a Jurassic Park superfan

I have loved the JP franchise since I was a kid growing up in the mid-late 1990s. I watch the og 3 movies probably 25 times a year and will sometimes put on one of the movies on to go to sleep to. So when I saw this, I knew I had to have it. I'm about 40 pages in and oh my goodness this is detailed! So far it's talked about everything from the history of Michael Crichton writing the book, a summary of the novel, how Crichton and Steven Spielberg met, the development and creation of the preproduction team, the different design teams at Tippet Studios, Stan Winston Studios, ILM, designing the locations, logo, puppets, the various scripts that were rejected — it is SO detailed! AND I'M NOT EVEN A QUARTER OF THE WAY THROUGH!! And then there's inserts like: a car placard like the one in the movie, story boards, sketches and renders of proof of concept art, covers for prop books. All of which can be removed and admired! I'm using the car placard as a book mark, personally. I had no idea it would be THIS in depth. I expected a brief overview, maybe just a repeat of the stories from the bonus features from the original release and digital re-release, and some storyboard sketches (which, there are a few familiar stories, quotes, and pictures) but there's so much more, too! If you or someone you know likes the og 3, get 👏 them 👏 this 👏 book 👏

WOW! Absolutely The most impressive movie guide ever!!! I have bought a lot of movie/visual guides. But this isn't just heavily comprehensive but FULL of goodies! This book arrived sealed in plastic. As I paged through it I found lots of surprises. Prop replicas, writer notes, storyboards, etc. I really thought I knew EVERYTHING to be known about BTS. I read past books and articles and watched every documentary, clip and special feature and yet in just the first 10 minutes I learned things about the movies I never heard of anywhere else!! I bought this book just because I wanted to add it to the collection but wow, this is a MUST HAVE! $40-50 is a deal for this! Get this book!!! 🦖🦕

I purchased this for my teenage son who absolutely loved it! It is a fun and informative book to flip through and read. There are some inserts that have a tendency to fall out but that is easily overlooked. This is a must for Jurassic Park lovers!

Creo que es el artículo de colección más espectacular que puede tener cualquier fan de Jurassic Park (aunque te gusten más o menos cada una de las películas de la trilogía original), ya que es un compendio de todo el material visual y el proceso de realización de las tres primeras películas de la saga. Todo ello con unas fotos BRUTALES, un nivel de información BESTIAL, y unos extras magníficos (desplegables, postales, concepts arts, bocetos, las fichas de acceso...), que aparecen como insertos dentro del propio libro (un poco particulares porque vienen pegados con minigotas de pegamento en algunas de las páginas, y obliga a tener un especial cuidado con ellas a la hora de cerrarlo). Y sí, en inglés. Todo en inglés. Desconozco si se ha editado o se va a editar en castellano, pero yo no tengo problema con el idioma (he leído el prólogo de Sam Neill y la introducción de Laura Dern y me parece un inglés muy sencillo, aunque yo tengo un nivel de inglés bueno, por mi trabajo, y mi opinión a lo mejor no es muy objetiva), y además quería tenerlo cuánto antes como auto-regalo de Navidad, por lo que decidí adquirirlo en vistas de que cuando espero demasiado para algunos productos, luego se agotan. El embalaje, envío y entrega perfectos, por lo que en ese sentido le tengo que poner un 10 a Amazon. Ahora a esperar el de la nueva trilogía, que ya he visto que se puede reservar.

Una joya que sin duda debes tener si o si si eres fan de jurassic park y todo lo relacionado a esta franquicia. Está increíble el libro, lleno de material e información de las 3 primeras películas. 100% para fans y 1000% increíblemente excelente.

Mooi boek, waar veel (niet alles) in terug te vinden over de ontwikkeling van de originele Jurassic Park Trilogie. Hoewel bij de Europese release (door Titan Books) staat dat het boek 192 pagina's bevat, is het (net als de US release) gewoon 256 pagina's dik. Dat gezegd hebbende is dit zeker geen vlekkeloze release. De inserts bij het boek zijn met lijmsnotjes aan het boek vastgemaakt. Deze lijm maakt vlekken in de pagina waardoor er op 2 kanten van de pagina een vlek zit. Daarnaast missen er diverse inserts. Als ik op het internet zoek mist er bij de één meer dan de ander. Bij mij missen er een paar, maar zat er op een plek in het boek wel lijm voor de insert waardoor 2 pagina's aan elkaar geplakt waren. Erg slechte Quality Control dus. Zonde want dit had een hele mooie release kunnen zijn wanneer je ook compleet zou krijgen waarvoor je betaalt.
