950-300, Pocket Steel Rule, 6"/150mm (1/64"/1mm), 1/2" Wide, With Pocket Clip

Have you ever wondered what that pocket on your shirt is for. You know, that pocket that's always empty, or sometimes has a pen in it, yeah that one. Its for this ruler, keep that pen company, get the ruler. Go ahead, look how sad your pen is, it needs a friend! In all seriousness, the build quality is 9/10, I cant stand the clip, but that's me. The steel ruler has just enough flex, and the etched scales are an amazing touch, they wont rub off. I use this ruler for on the go drafting, I like my straight lines. Has metric and standard, so I can do just about anything with it, including, stir my coffee. Max step resolution for metric is mm's, inches are in 64th's, which I use sometimes. The back of the ruler has a 64th -> mm chart. ex. 1/64" = 0.397mm, and so on, up to 1" = 25.400mm. Normally I don't get to excited when I find things made in the USA, like my hamburger, but this ruler exceeded all of my expectations in regards to quality. If given the opportunity, I would purchase this item again. One last thing, try to find a ruler just like this one, same size, same scale, same quality, for a cheap price, ill save you some time, ya cant.

A Mitutoyo steel ruler that comes in handy when working on my lathe. Small and has both metric and standard units as well as a conversion chart on the back. Love it!
