Just what I needed.

Best boot I have ever purchase

Long time Wolverine boot owner, Im talkin I had one pair of Wolverines for 14 years, and that pair went through about 15 elk/deer hunts through the wilderness. Anyways the reason I bring up my one pair is because this pair of boots has restored my faith in buying new boots. I tried a different pair last year also, and that "waterproof" boot did not make the cut after1 elk hunt. This boot feels very sturdy and well made which was surprising for an offbrand shoe. The tread is nice and has a good grip. My FAVORITE part is how FREAKIN comfy this shoe is, talk about walking on clouds. I've broke them in with 8 miles of street use up and down hills, and I cannot wait to take them hunting. The only thing I was unable to test was waterproofing, if it sucks I will update review. So far it is exactly what I need and what I've been looking for without breaking the bank.

I purchased these just be a hunting trip. I was unsure what to expect based on the "cheap" price point but to my surprise, these are a really great boots. They have very good traction, very light weight. I was able to wear all day. 100% water proof and I say that because I crossed a river and ended up falling in up over both boots and because having them tied tight, both feet stayed dry. I could not believe it. Not sure how long they will last but at this price point, I think I'm going to buy another pair as a backup pair. I would 100% recommend these boots.

I've only tried the boots on, so I don't know what it's like to be walking in them. But I can tell you to NOT to follow their instructions that say to order a 1/2 size larger, unless you like your footwear to run a bit larger than your feet. Based on ordering a 1/2 size larger, if I were to keep these, I'd have to wear some thick wool socks, which I don't enjoy doing. Even then, based on how most footwear fits, these will stretch a bit. Looks like I'm going to need to return these and get my actual size. BTW, the 3 star review is based on the materials and how I feel the boots are constructed. Construction seems fine, but the materials feel really cheap to me.
