This was recommended by my dermatologist. I’m 23, with an Oily T zone and ocasional bouts of acne. I’m using Differin (Adapalene) with benzoyl peroxide, it keeps my acne at bay completely, but it also leaves my skin super sensitive to the sun and makes me peel sometimes. I’ve tried many sunblocks, mostly the neutrogena ones, which my derm said could be causing break outs despite its non comedogenic claims. He recommended either this, or La Roche Posay brand sunblocks. This is the one I decided to try first, and I love it. It comes out more watery than the usual sunblock, and you only need a little bit as it spreads quite well. It doesn’t burn at all (sometimes when my face is peeling it burns a little due to the retinoid). What I love most is that it dries down almost matte, and it works wonderful as a primer for the days I use a little bit of foundation. No major break outs yet while using it, and it’s been a few months. The tube isn’t all that big, but that’s okay, because I can throw it in my purse and reapply in the afternoon. Haven’t had a problem with this sweating into my eyes. I also haven’t seen this in any stores around where I live, so I’m glad this is available through amazon. It arrives in a plastic sealed box, and it has a very slight, pleasant scent that lasts about 3 seconds. It dries colorless, for those that may be worried about looking like mimes.

I saw this product used as a pre-make up moisturizing serum. It was less expensive here on Amazon than on the site where I watched a video of basic items for an everyday natural "No Make-up" make up daily routine. It arrived quickly and I still don't have the other items from the video site. This serum feeling sunscreen is absolutely WONDERFUL. I have always hated any facial moisturizer that has sunscreen. I have tried many!! They always feel like a coating - or too heavy. This goes on like a serum, sinks right in and absorbs completely within in seconds. It leaves my face feeling soft and moisturized!! I love it and will be buying more when its used up!

I've just ordered my second tube, my first only has a few applications left. I have used it daily since I bought it ten months ago over the top of my usual morning skincare (not as a replacement for moisturiser), I use an index finger length amount for the whole face and down my neck. I use it only once a day, only reapplying if its a very sunny day or at the beach etc., as I am one of those people who believe that it's good for skin to get a bit of sun especially once the suns rays have died down a bit in the afternoon. Although I notice it leaves a slight white tint to the skin, when asking family they cannot tell that there is any difference to my skin color so it must be subtle. I love knowing that my skin is protected against the photo aging properties of the sun all year round, on dreary "London weather" days and the long hours of basking on the beach on holiday. I have very slight rosacea all over my face and don't want it to worsen as I age, but don't want to miss out on the sun, this is perfect as the technology is so advanced and I really feel like I'm doing all I can.
