Very nice strop. And works well. I was hoping for something a tad larger, but is is sufficienlty large and works well. Others I'm sure will think it's plenty large. The compound is also nice to have and to put that final bit of edge and remove the burs. Good quality leather.

I thought stropping a sharp knife was a joke. I had difficulties getting that ultimate edge on my knives but this product is unreal. Easiest way to put that final edge on a knife and it is so easy. Highly recommend to anyone. If you can't get that razor sharp edge you are doing it wrong or you didn't get it prepped (sharp enough) correctly. I can't compare to other strops but don't need too.

Nice leather strop. Seems sturdy. Portable, yet large enough to get the job done. Easy to use.

Excellent product

This is an amazing strop for the price!!! Although they don't mention straight razors in the advertisement that is what I bought it for. I purchased an antique straight razor on ebay that was not shave ready so I used a 3000 and then an 8000 wet stone to get it almost there. I purchased this strop because it was inexpensive and stropped the edge on both the rough and the smooth sides of the leather with the green compound. Amazing close shave with my antique straight razor!!!

This was my first strop, so I went very basic. It is really nice quality and value for the money. It is easy to use, thought the compound is a little dry - so you have to follow the instructions. With very little effort, I was able to get all my blades hair popping, razor sharp. I am going to also get the wooden backed one, and keep this as a travel/bag unit. Really really happy and highly recommend.

I have not used a strop before so I chose this one for the low price point and large size. Haven't quite got the hang of it yet but am getting great results anyway. Removes the burr and hones the blade to a razor sharp aligned edge after sharpening with a whetstone, exactly what it's supposed to do. My knives are sharp but I'll watching a few more videos and practicing to hone my technique. [See what I did there?]. Comes with instructions and some green finishing compound that you rub on to the strop before use. Perfect for beginners like me, I highly recommend this product.

Disappointed. I will keep it as a backup. 8x3 inches may be o.k. for a three inch folding blade or carving tools, but there are better options for the price.

It's just as you expect it to be, think it will last a long time, perhaps a tad expensive coming from America, the exchange rate to Uk not very good (2021) but it works well.

Great little strop. My knives always come out sharper. It's big enough I'm gonna split er down the middle and glue a smooth side to a piece of wood and a rough side to the other side of the wood. Maker er nice n sturdy.

Good product, pricey. High price is likely due to the brand reputation.
