Better tent than it should be!
One day, I would like just to review tents because there isn't much information out there except for sponsored reviews that show how it is set up and some reviews of whether they leak, or how much they weigh when putting them on your backpack before you hike for 1000 miles north of the Arctic Circle. Unfortunately, I still have to provide for my family, so I will review the ones I get as I get them. This tent is solid. It has high-quality parts and pieces, goes up easily, and is a good tent overall. When I got it, I wanted something I could take out that was small and practical for one or two night excursions without bringing all the extra stuff. Still, I wanted it to be breathable and have enough room to set up a cot in because I'm old enough that I don't like sleeping on the ground anymore. When I opened the box and saw the aluminum poles, I knew I was in for a surprise. Like most guys do, I didn't break out the instructions and decided just to see if I could get the thing pitched (inside, of course, because don't we all set up a tent to test in the living room first?). Within maybe five minutes, it was set up as a basic tent. The tent is a large tub bottom with a mesh upper 3/4 and doors on both ends. If you're summer camping and there's no rain in the forecast, you can sleep like you're not in a tent without waking up looking like you have mumps from the mosquitoes attacking you all night. If there is a chance of rain or you just want to stay warm if it's cooler out, you can put on the rain fly that covers the entire tent, with side vents, and vestibules on both ends. It doesn't get stuffy inside because the airflow from the vents and physical separation between the mesh and the fly let air move around. Everything about it feels high quality, which hasn't changed in the 20+ times I have used it. It never feels like I need to bring a backup with me. It is an excellent tent for a reasonable price that you will have for years to come.

You Won’t Be Disappointed!!!
I decided to try camping for the first time and the TETON Sports Mountain Ultra 2 person tent seemed like a good place to start. The reviews on Amazon were good, and the price seemed reasonable. I did some additional research on the tent also, and those reviews were generally very positive. It got used for the first time over 3 nights last week. The first camping trip was two nights, and the tent was used by my sister-in-law and nephew. My wife and I used a different tent. They reported that the TETON Sports Mountain Ultra worked fine; they had enough room, the tent didn’t leak during a moderate rain, had good ventilation, and no condensation. The setup and takedown were easy and quick. Everything fit back into the pouch with no trouble. After being home for a day, my wife left on a girls’ trip, so I decided to do a one night camping trip to try the TETON myself. I was impressed. The design is very good, and there is adequate airflow due to multiple vents that can be propped open. The fabric of the tent and fly seem to be of good quality, and the zippers worked smoothly. I experienced some light rain, and I had no leaks. There is good storage inside with a hammock net connected to the ceiling by its 4 corners. There is also a hook that was perfect for hanging a small lantern. I’m very happy with the TETON Sports Mountain Ultra Tent, and I highly recommend it.

Exceeded all expectations!
Genuinely one of the best tents I have ever used. Superb quality on the materials in all aspects down to the stitching. The poles - Extremely lightweight, but not cheap. Unlike other tents the poles are lightweight and STRONG. The internal cordage does not feel like it will wear our and the pole stay strong even under harsh wind and rain (tested myself) The Fabric - Amazing! The internal mesh is great for hot nights, and even just stargazing. The flooring is waterproof from what I have seen, and is extremely resistant to puncture (Camped near cactus). During setup you can really tell that all of the stitching was done with care and endurance in mind. No catching and after many uses, no tearing. Setup - Absolutely the easiest I have ever done. Took me less than 10 minutes to full set up (~15 with all of the guy lines). I believe anyone could do this alone in no time flat. It is also super easy to figure out as there are only 3 poles and some coverage, but it also comes with instructions just in case you forget. Inside - More roomy than I imagined, and has little pockets for holding gear. Obviously you could only fit 2 adults comfortably, but that is perfect. 2 adults and gear would still leave some extra room for sure. As a 6'0" 330lb man, I found it roomy still. Comfort - Without the rain fly it is extremely cool at night during the summer. With the rain fly there is obviously less airflow, but even with it and the doors closed I never felt uncomfortable, even in ~95F-100F. With the rain fly on, and a good sleeping bag, It also felt great when I camped in ~28F-35F. All in all I would rate this a 10/10. Comfortable, Easy to set up, Durable, and overall just a great experience any time I have used it. I wish I had photos to share, but suffice it to say through snow, rain storm, and melting summers, this tent has done it all and exceeded my expectations.

Coming from a 6’5 person, it is really spacious on the inside. Its very sturdy, easy to set up and keeps out the rain. However, the front door can be a little tricky to get through

Happy with the way it fits my Mountain Ultra 2 tent (Model 2006YL). I put it up just as a test run and it's as it should be. Haven't tested it in the rain as of yet, or on damp surfaces, but the waterproofing on it looks to be sturdy and waterproofed well.
