Blue Star Grid Pattern Auto Lens Repair Kit (Red)

I bought this almost 2 years ago. I read other reviews that said that the adhesive wasn't very good, so I taped it on with clear packing tape instead. I just noticed that the tape was starting to lift, so I replaced the tape. The product itself was still in perfect condition after a year and ten months on my car with all kinds of weather conditions. I'm also surprised that the packing tape lasted that long.

I used it to repair a broken mirror turn signal on my F-250. There was a hole in the old one where an RV side swiped me on a narrow road while I was stopped. The lens that I repaired has a sharp curve and I've noticed that the repair is pulling up a little on the edges, but overall it's done a great job. The replacement lens is $250 plus installation, so this is a great alternative. The repair isn't even noticeable unless you get close to the truck. Best of all, it stopped the annoying whistling that the broken lens made.

Update- 🚫 It will NOT stay on!! NVM all of the stuff below. Too good to be true. I had low expectations because I was attempting to cover a massive hole. This stuff is thick and flexible. I'm so impressed. Generally, if you're too cheap to replace the light you expect to have a cheap looks ng repair. This was well worth the money. You have to look closely to tell it's a patch. Very easy to put on.

Gets the job done. Easy to cut and sticks on very well. It’s hard plastic so works around gentle curves/bends, so keep that in mind.

The lens itself is of good quality. However, adhering it to the light frame is difficult unless the shape is just right. For me, I had to use duct tape to secure the lens on the trailer, and it is less than magnificent in appearance.

It is effective for what it was designed to do. Act as a temporar repair until a new lense can be found. I would order and use it again. Although i find the price wee bit on the high side, for what one is actually getting

Había usado el kit anteriormente y me duró como 2 años, al usar este nuevo como a la semana se despego de dos orillas. Seguí las indicaciones pero no funcionó muy bien
