This is such a great product! It works 100%
This is such a great product! It works 100%. Like the other parents' experiences, my 20 month old daughter hates getting water in her eyes during bath time which makes it difficult to wash her hair. I was skeptical at first especially after some of the bad reviews, but for the price I said why not? I paid $1.90 + shipping. I am one of those parents that likes simplicity and doesn't feel the need to "Keep Up With The Joneses" as long as what I'm purchasing gets the job done. I mean $2....my expectations weren't very high to begin with, but so glad I took the risk! The cap is adjustable, so you can find the exact fit. Snaps are better than buttons or hooks as those can tear. It's made of soft foam, so it can stretch a little. I adjusted the cap on the smaller side and just stretched it over her head for a snug fit. The visor completely shields your child's eyes from any direct contact with water. Mine came folded in the mail like another reviewer said, but it straightened out within the first use. Even if it didn't, it would still serve its purpose. You definitely don't want this product to be hard plastic because your child's skin is still very delicate. At first, my daughter was resistant, but after a few tries, she finally understood it was helping her. She also thinks it's fun to see the water trickling off the cap. Lastly, you really only need the cap for like less than 10 seconds each bath time to rinse your child's hair out, so what are people complaining about? It's a cheap, convenient, fast solution to an every day problem!

Nice little thing for kids who are afraid of water
I went through a period with my older children fearing having their hair washed. Rinsing their hair was akin to trying to wash a cat--claws out and flailing and screeching. Then I found this little gem, and it really helped calm them down. I gave it a four star rating because the little buttons are kind of difficult to snap around their little heads and will come undone if you get it too tight, shipping took FOREVER, and it feels a little flimsy. Otherwise though, for the price, you really can't beat it, especially if you've got a kid working on hydrophobia.

Original baby shower gift for which you will be thanked later over and over. Affordable! Highly recommended.
I keep buying these for my friends with newborns and at first I never hear anything but after the kids start being able to sit up in the tub, they start to write me and send pics of the kids wearing them, thanking me for what a great gift it was. Such a small, inexpensive little thing, but apparently it works great to keep the soap out of the babies' eyes and is greatly appreciated by moms and dads alike. Very affordable. It takes a little time to arrive from Japan so don't be in a hurry to get it; it always arrives eventually. :)

I just need a couple more arms.
This is a foam visor. Don't expect a whole lot. Our toddler isn't exactly a fan of using this thing during bath time. BUT if you're fast and can keep it on them while you rinse out shampoo or whatever, then it's totally worth it. It does exactly what it needs to. If I had 3 or 4 arms, this would be wonderful. But my 2 hands have a hard time keeping this on the baby when she fights wearing it so much. On a different baby, I'd guess this would be the best thing out there!

Tested on 16 Month Old - Failed Miserably
Like many other parents, bath time for my 16-month old daughter is perfectly fine until she gets water in her face. I tried the method of laying her back and rinsing, but she hates that too. After seeing an American product called Kair Air Cushioned Bath Visor, Blue , I started looking for alternatives... because after all Kair Air wanted to charge almost $20 for an item that doesn't get very good Amazon reviews. By selecting this item for just $1.86 cents, I was able to "test" it to see if it really worked. Unfortunately it doesn't. Not even remotely close. I received this item in a big box and it was not folded or damaged like other reviewers mentioned in their reviews. Mine was in pristine condition. Sadly, it doesn't work at all. When I place it on my daughter's head, the shape of the item isn't doesn't form-fit around her head. It's like there are cracks or it's oval in shape compared to a circular head. I've tried ALL the size adjustments and it doesn't seem to fit snugly. Maybe my daughter's head is misshapen but even on the most snug setting, water will drain down her face with this item on. I'm not angry though, because I didn't pay a whole lot for the item. I guess I'll just resort to other homemade methods for rinsing her hair until she gets older.

Fine cap, works but have to adjust it each time
I ordered this Shampoo shower bathing protect soft cap for my 8 months old daughter on Jan 22 when it was on sale for $1.89. After spending 1 hour reading reviews, I changed my mind and tried to cancel the order. However, the seller didn't allow me to and sent a message said that the product has been shipped (Really?? shipped after the order just made in an hour??). Then, I received the product on Feb 10 which is almost 3 weeks later. My friend who lives 30 minutes from me ordered this on the same day and got hers one week earlier. The quality of the product is ok, feel like cheap water-proof material. It came in a bubble wrapped envelope with the cap folded in half. Therefore, when I first used it, it took me awhile to fix the hole that is caused by the fold. There are 4 buttons that allows me to adjust to the right size for my daughter's head. Her head is about 43 cm and the innermost button works. I have been using this cap to bath my baby for almost 10 days. It works well but I have to fix the hole that caused by the fold every once awhile and worry the water may get into her eyes. Overall, my experience with this cap is fine but I don’t like how the seller deals with my cancellation.

Love it
I bought this for my two year old daughter and whom ever came up with this idea is a genius haha. She has very thick, long hair and when I wash it she spends the whole time rubbing her poor little eyes. She also get's a lot of ear infections and I thought it would help to keep the water out of her ears also. It does :). Has adjustment settings so you can fit it to your childs head. It's cheap and the material is too but it works wonders hahaha. A little water will drizzle down here and there but still serves its purpose and keeps water from eyes and ears.

Great overall.
It's much bigger than I thought it would be.Great. I thought it was going to be plastic, yet it's like a styrofoam (but more durable (maybe that was in the description that I overlooked).GREAT! It has buttons so it can be adjusted to fit the baby's head. Great. And the price....I mean. Ya can't beat it. AMAZING. Only reason That I didn't give 5 stars is because I wanted a somewhat sturdier/hard plastic (BUT I see this may be more safe than my expectations). I would buy it again.
