Perfect size and functional
I love that this item was far less expensive on Amazon than in stores (like $20 difference). Well made and doesn't really get too hot, but it's lightweight and perfect for smaller pattern pieces. I haven't let it run to test the auto shut off, but I did notice that the light will turn on if it's plugged in, though this does not mean that it is turned on. So make sure to turn it on.

5 years , still love it! Laptop epp is easy
I use a computer lapboard and pressing mat to make epp shapes sitting on the couch. I "paint" starch around the edges (that I have sprayed into the cap of aerosol can). No need for basting or glue. 5 years and works great.

Great iron for encaustic & art projects
Great little iron that I use for encaustic collage on large areas, such as applying fabric or printed papers to a panel for backgrounds. I love it's ergonomic possibilities as it has four levels of adjustment. Its also fantastic for encaustic safely with four heating levels-I use level 2 for encaustic. Also, great for safety is that it has it's own attached stand, so you just pick it up and put it back down with ease. It's a must have for encaustic collage enthusiasts.

Good iron...But terrible packaging!
The mini iron is handy and works well.... when you get it out of the plastic container. MY GOSH... the worst packaging ever. Trying to cut it out.. left cuts on my hands. It is the typical plastic "wrapped" around the shape of the item. Iron works good and get hot enough for crafting....but not sure I'd tackle the wrapping again if I needed to purchase again.

Cute!
This is just the right size to iron tiny seams open in a doll dress and other tight places where my big iron either won't fit or where the big iron makes creases in the wrong places because it's big. It balances on an attached wire thingamabob that folds out of the way while in use. But it also lies on its side without the hot part touching anything, which works for me, too. I like having more than one heat setting. It's perfect for what I wanted it for. It doesn't replace a big iron, but it does offer control in small areas. The ironing surface is about an inch long, really cute and shaped just like a real iron. It made very satisfactory creases where I wanted them. Not for kids, though. It's easy to forget this thing is hot!

Exactly what I was looking for! Works Great!
I was looking for a way to press/iron the wrinkles from the small to medium size purses I make. After flipping right side out (a time or two) all well pressed fabric looks a mess! Since some of the items I make are coin purses there was no way to get my regular iron inside them to get the wrinkles out. I am so happy I bought this because it works perfect!! And the price is so great on Amazon!! I saw it today at Micheal's for almost $15 more than I paid here! I keep it right next to my regular size iron in my sewing room and use it to finish press or touch up any small item I make. Now my purses look great and ready for sale! It does exactly what I needed it to do. I should also mention the head is adjustable, I am not sure if the description mentions this but I was very happy to discover this when mine arrived. It makes it even easier to get into corners. Very pleased with this purchase! Great addition to my sewing room and will get lots of use. (Pretty sturdy too as mine has dropped twice now and still works great :)

Product was defective
The iron arrived and did not work. Unfortunately I didn't immediately plug the iron in to verify it would work. I relied on Dritz brand to deliver a quality product. The iron did not get hot when I plugged it in. I followed the troubleshooting tips, but it still did not work. I contracted the seller - twice - via Amazon's site and have not received any response. My husband has an electronic background, carefully opened the iron, and discovered one of the two wires was not attached to the electric board. The machine can't work if it is not connected. The iron gets hot now, but it was a failed product. The end user should not be required to take the iron apart and attach wires the manufacturer neglected to properly connect. Dritz is a great company for pins and needles, but buy your electronic products from a more reliable company.

I chose between this and the Clover brand tiny iron; this one has a MUCH better design, you don’t risk burning yourself. The long handle makes this easy to use on tricky tiny fabric items. Proper well made smooth heat plate, has four temperature settings, which is great. Heats up enough to iron Cotten and linen etc, I use a spray bottle to help with the pressing, as there is no steam function. Otherwise it’s a real tiny iron, works just like a large one.
