Saucony Men's Cohesion 9 Running Shoe

As a pretty serious "hobby" runner, (up to 70 mpw), I give these shoes my highest rating.Fit perfectly, comfortable, great cushioning, light, and look really good, especially for a "lower end" shoe.I've always purchased shoes in the "middle-high" area from NB, Saucony, usually around $80. It always seemed to me that was wherethe "cutoff" point was for a quality shoe.This shoe proves what I used to believe wrong. Went for a 7 mile run yesterday and could perceive no difference from the shoes I had been wearing for decades.This is the best value for a running shoe I've ever come across.

I'm a heel-toe jogger who runs 12-16 miles a week on average. I've worn the Saucony Cohesion 7s, the 8s and now the 9s and I've been happy with all of them. They fit snugly but comfortably with good lateral stability. My toes are wider than average (collectively) and the Cohesions provide plenty of toe room without being too roomy elsewhere. I also need good arch support and these shoes provide it. For my regular 4 mile jog on sidewalks and pavement I haven't found a better shoe at this price.When I'm feeling ambitious and I jog an extra mile or two I occasionally feel like I'm reaching the limits of the Cohesion's support, with a little discomfort (not pain) in my arches. Even then I've never had a blister with any pair of Cohesions I've owned.As an inexpensive running shoe it may not be intended for long distances, but for "Zen of Running" disciples (the original 1974 book by Fred Rohé) like myself who aren't into speed or marathon endurance the Cohesions are perfect. Congratulations to Saucony for making such a great shoe at a very fair price.

It looks and feels like a well-constructed running shoe. I've just worn it once, now, so I have no idea how durable it is. This is the third pair of running shoes I've purchased from Amazon and rather than using the Amazon size chart I went to the Saucony website and found their size chart, which differed from the Amazon size chart by one full size, i.e., the Saucony site said that for a 29cm foot you need size 11 and the Amazon site said I'd need a size 12. I figured the Saucony site was more likely to be accurate, but -- hedging my bet -- I ordered 11.5. It has turned out to be a bit snug, but not so snug as to warrant going through the hassle of sending it back. So, as strange as it sounds, the Amazon size chart was more accurate for a Saucony running shoe than was the Saucony site.

quite impressed with the fit and wear of this style from Saucony. I will be blunt, based on price i am not sure what i was expecting... but after being in the shoe business in the past and dealing in the higher price range shoe, I am always skeptical of the lower market.This shoe was a great fit and flex the moment i put it on. From minute on through my entire last week of school as a teacher, I was moving throughout the halls in all sorts of rush or stroll and felt great all through it.I found while in the shoe industry my need for a higher arch support to avoid my pronating and have had to rely on inserts even in my sneakers to get that all day support, but after a week, its still feels great and i come home without the ache.I have never owned saucony before, but with what i am experiencing so far... i am quite happy and hopefully if they survive long enough i may have found a great option for a low price point runner.

I usually walk between 7 to 10 miles a day and find that the Saucony Men's Cohesion 9 offers an excellent balanceof support, comfort and light weight. I have several pairs of running shoes and my favorite are an older pairof Asics Gel Kayano 18s. The Kayano 18 lists for about $150 and usually sells for close to list. The entireKayano series is excellent albeit expensive. What surprised me is how close the Cohesion 9s are in terms ofsupport, comfort and light weight to the Kayano 18. The latter is a bit better, however, given the differencein price, the Cohesion 9 is a steal. Even at half the price of the Kayano 18 the C9 would be a bargain.However, at about 25% of the price the Kayano Gel 18, the C9 is an incredible value. So much so that I purchased two pairsfor under $70.Get 'em while they last.Highly recommended!

This is my second pair of Saucony Cohesion running shoes, I previous owned a pair of Cohesion 5's and found them to get a comfortable affordable option for the level of running that I was doing. So I purchased a second pair and have put about 150 miles into them to date and must say they continue to provide excellent value for my running needs.I have in the past year started running half marathons and 10 mile events, in addition to the 10k and 5k events prior. These have held up great so far and provide me with the comfort I've been looking for.I would highly recommend this show for someone who enjoys running and wants excellent value for the money.

A very nice, neutral shoe. I will say that there are occasions, depending on the socks I wear, when I develop a blister on my foot where the insole meets the side. I bought some slick patches to fix it, but have not had to use them yet because the problem has not happened again.All in all, these are probably some of the best running shoes you can get for under $100. Not super springy, not loose and heavy, good comfortable support and neutrality.I am 6 foot 200 lbs, generally a 3-7 mile casual runner with normal (but not perfect) form, wearing a size 10.5.

Fits very well. I have wore them once for a couple of hours at work. We'll have to see how they hold up to a 9hour shift.

Fits well and comfy to walk in.

I love these running shoes. I have gone though a lot of running shoes as I am a runner and this one in in the top 3 for me. Saucony realty does make great shoes ( I am not endorsed by them at all). This shoe has great cushioning for a heal striker and its easy on the knees.
