They're made well and priced fairly but a head's up for anyone with arthritic hands - they're hard to open. Anyone else should be fine, though.

I have black/grey thinning hair (my single braid is smaller than two of them used to be when I'd do pigtails in my teen - 50's.) I like to braid it then pin it up on the back of my head. Easy to do and looks nice. I don't like all the glitzy ones as an older woman, so thought I'd give these a try. With thinning, fine hair I was worried they might not grip well, but then I remembered they were made to divide and hold sections of hair while perming or coloring. I'm so glad I gave them a chance. They hold great and don't stand out as the colorful ones for younger girls and women do. Perfect!
