I bought this for the Garmin Striker Plus 4cv depth finder that I use on my kayak. The battery is very light weight, yet well constructed, recharges and maintains the charge flawlessly. It works incredibly well for my use-case and lasts seemingly forever. Well, all day out on the water at least and with much left to spare. Great battery for what I’m using it on.

These batteries work perfectly for my Ghost Control gate operators.

Using this Dakota battery for icefishing with a Humminbird Helix 5 locator. Long lasting power and charges with no issues. Had this battery for a couple years now and works great. Only use during a few months in winter.

I love how light this battery is. I use it to run a fish finder/sonar/side scan/mapper/gps unit so there is not a lot of drain when in use. If it really lasts a couple seasons I will be thrilled. It costs 3 times as much as the standard AGM batteries I use so it needs last. So far I have used it six days for about 6 hours each. I do recharge after every use and I did have to buy a lithium battery charger. I did not anticipate the expense of the new charger when I bought the battery.

***Update*** I have dropped my star rating to 1 and would put it at 0 if possible. Not sure if it was just two crazy coincidences but I received a replacement battery after my first one died and the same exact thing happened. Returning it and going with another brand. Very disappointed with this item. The battery went dead the very first time I used it. I was using this battery to power my ice fishing graph and all of a sudden it went black. My battery indicator on the screen was only at 50%. I thought it was weird but possible it was already dead. When I made it back to the house I plugged it in to charge and the smart charger didn’t even recognize the battery was connected. I waited until the next morning and still nothing. I gave this product two stars across the board because I haven’t really even had a chance to fully try it out. They are giving me a replacement with free shipping and I really hope the new one turns out better than the first. I was very excited for this so being disappointed would be an understanding.

I have FIOS internet (Ziply) and the backup battery has failed twice in 2 years. This time I got this one to replace the Goldtop GT12080-HG. This one is 7Ah versus 8Ah, but the effective use of the battery means this one is about the same initially and over time will surpass the GT-12080-HG. Charged battery up fully using trickle charge before installing. Perfect fit and no more warning beeps for low battery.

4 stars so far. I have it in an ION explore boombox. It plays 4-5 days, 4hrs per day and then 12-14 per day on weekends because it’s in my garage. It seems to hold a great charge. No complaints, but it seems like it doesn’t gets weak on the indicator light on radio, it just shut off. I can only assume that’s the radio issue.

Excellent battery - lightweight and lasts a long time. Easy and fast to charge.

I charged it to 14.6V and then discharged it and basically got around 7Ah out of it. Only complaint is the way it's packaged by the manufacturer/seller is not safety complaint. I suspect though that the box I got was safely packed in a larger bundle by the manufacturer and then sold piece meal by the local seller. batteries should be sold double boxed with the interior box having foam padding around the top and bottom of the battery at least. This battery was not.

Using this battery to power my XEIGU X6100 while out in the field. Super light battery, have only used a few times but have only charged once, works really well.
