I am finally thrilled I am finally thrilled with my denture care! I have tried paste, glue, and heated molding all of which leaves excess in my mouth which I have to then scrape or brush from my gums. These products have all proven to be to be a daily night mare. I finally decided to try SeaBond this week and 1) makes dentures stay a day firmly and 2) simple and easy to apply with no excess mess. I am loving it. This is day 2. The cost of course is certainly budget friendly! with my denture care! Due to bruxism, I finally had to have the rest of my top teeth pulled last year. It was... traumatic. While I'm glad to have my smile back, dentures and I are not getting along well. I tried the adhesive glue and it did not go well - trying to remove the residue left was not only unpleasant and gross, but triggered my gag reflex horribly. It was bad. Really bad. The dentist's assistant suggested I try these. You have to cut them to size to fit inside your denture with no overlap. Pink side down. I dip my finger under the faucet and drop water on it, one drop at a time letting it spread until the entire thing is wet. Then I pop them in. It takes about 10-15 minutes to fully set, but is ready to go in 1-2 minutes. It holds. I was finally able to eat an entire meal with them in. When you remove your dentures, the seal is normally stuck to the roof of your mouth. Hook it with your finger and pull it out, do a quick rinse with water and you're done. That's it. No gagging. No icky goo to scrape out. It already sucks to have dentures, your adhesive shouldn't give you trauma. If I hadn't found this, I would have probably given up on trying to make them work. Thank you Sea Bond for helping me get my smile back!
