Fox 2.0 Performance Series Shocks Set for 2018-2022 Jeep Wrangler JL 4WD RWD

I have a 2018 Jeep Wrangler Sport S Unlimited hardtop. Purchased it new. I have Rubicon springs and shocks with 35” tires on the factory 17” wheels. Decided to upgrade the shocks to the Fox Performance series 2.0 to improve the ride on road and on light off-roading. I’m blown away with the improvement in the ride all around. Still handles tight on corners. Gives me some confidence that the tires are staying connected with the ground on dirt and gravel roads. They look spectacular as well! Highly recommend this upgrade if you have larger than stock tires on stock suspension or a light lift.

Only about $20 more than the replacement shocks, these were a great and noticeable upgrade to smooth the ride, especially apparent over expansion joints and other abrupt/short road defects. They give a little more axle droop as well when off-road. Great for the money. I’m getting another set for our other JLU soon.

Shipper only shipped 3 of the 4 shocks ordered. After a day of waiting for a response it was taken care of and the remaking shock was shipped. As for the shocks, they are awesome! These were installed in a very short time. Little over an hour. My sone helped me and we had am the right tools to do it quickly. As a note to anyone reading this, DO NOT remove the front fender plastic wheel wells from the fender edges. You only need to remove the 3 screws and a few of the plastic Christmas’s tree snaps so you can peel back the liner. This will give you access to the upper shock mount to get to the bolt easily. Don't cut the plastic strapping off the shocks until they are installed. Once installed you can use a razor knife to remove them. Install the top bolt first. That way you can install them with a small pry bar for the bottom and compress them to align the bolt.

I installed these on my 2023 Wrangler Rubicon. The install is extremely easy. I did it in my driveway without removing the wheels and without a jack. They are a huge improvement over the stock Rubicon shocks.
