I am using this cover to protect a Ring doorbell camera from the desert sun. It has held up really well for three years. The plastic is solid. I had to trim the sides so they don't restrict the side view of the camera. It was really easy to make the cuts and then sand the plastic to the shape I wanted.

Perfect for my outdoor deadbolt keypad. Great price. I’d buy these again for sure.

It was easy to install. It probably protects the doorbell from the rain. It also keeps the noonday sun off of the doorbell, but it may not protect from the harsh afternoon sun from the west. The wide view of the doorbell camera will not allow a tight fitting shade. The last Ring doorbell survived the afternoon sun for 3 1/2 years without this shade. We will see about this one.

work great and easy to install

I used these to add protection to a Liftmaster Key pad remote. In order to mount the remote, you have to allow room for the door of the keypad remote to open to at least 90 degrees. Then the keypad hangs down below the bottom of this piece and doesn't mount decently. This product is decent as is for a single button. But for most keyapds it would be better if it was longer (vertical dimension).

Seems to be well made for price. Will keep moisture and sun off delicate keypad.

I used this on my motorcycle for shade on my phone so it wouldn't get over heated from the sun.
