Exactly what i wanted everything you need for cakes or cookies all in one!

Ok, I’m not a baker. In fact, I’ve never really made cakes. However, now that I have this I want to. Our baker wasn’t taking requests due to COVID, so I bought things to make a cake for my sons birthday. I searched and searched, and thought about buying only a couple things to make my own kit. After I started pricing it out, I realized this was the way to go, and I couldn’t be happier. After buying this I also bought icing tools and a cake leveler among other things, and they all easily fit into this kits case. It is really cool that you can take out the dividers in the bottom section to fit your needs. The case keeps everything together well, and as long as you aren’t going to buy a lot of additional items, this works really well. Yes, some of the items included are not the higher quality ones that Wilton makes (offset spatulas for example are not their expensive ones, but they are easily usable and great nonetheless). I was pretty successful making my first cake, and now I can honestly say that I can’t wait to make more (which I never thought I’d say). When we go to dinner parties (get to after COVID is more like it) I will be bringing more cakes that I have made now that I have this amazing set that even novices can use to make nice looking cakes.

I bought one for myself quite a few years back and could pass this up as a gift for a new baker. I’m impressed that it came with the basic items and the storage space makes it a grab and bake project. It keeps everything you may need to decorate all in one handy container. The food coloring, tops, bags, scrapers and the accessories for the tips make it super convenient. I got mine got twice the price and it was empty…an absolutely perfect gift!

Purchased this for our granddaughter's 11th birthday. She is a budding baker and wants to be a pastry chef. At least for today! (Wink, wink!) She loved it! Haven't seen any creations, yet. But school has just started, so she is a little busy.

Really love this set but the cake strips shown are not what comes in this set. It comes with two silver cake strips that fasten with a small metal pin. Was really dissatisfied With the strips since I paid for what was pictured

This is a great starter kit. I gifted it to my daughter so she could make awesomeness for the grandkids as I did for my kids when they were little. The case is nice for keeping everything in one place.

So I bought the set for my wife's bday, and I was very disappointed: the box seemed used or was on diaplay in a shop for a loooong time, but the tools inside seemed all brand new. But what bothers me the most is when checking the content of the box we found out that not all the articles looked like the picture, I don't think that a brand like wilton will do such a stupid mistake as to have articles that don't look like the picture. There should be 2 purple even cake stripes where both ends nicely slide in one another to hold the cake, but what was in the box was some cheap fabric stripes that looked like someine cut them from an old curtain, but they have a pin to attach both ends instead, yeah thanks for the pin I guess.

I purchased this set as a gift for my 11 year old granddaughter who is getting into cake decorating. I purchased similar Wilton cake decorating tips 40+ years ago and am still using the same tips in the same condition today. I know she will have this basic set for the rest of her life. Although an expensive outlay at first, it is good quality for the price and will last a lifetime.
